This man says and acts the same as my brother-in-law who suffers from Paranoid Schizophrenia.
Best channel on the tube ! No contact... Sergie is changing lives and giving some much needed perspective about the people of Russia! God bless
I agree! I love it. His Russian channel has even more stories
*no contest* 🎉
@@youresofullofyourself Can you please tell me how or where I can find his Russian channel?
Thank you so much!
I couldn’t agree more! Love you, Sergei!

Poor Sasha really needs to see doctors to see if he has PTSD or if he is schizophrenic. My cousin was schizophrenic and Sasha reminds me so much of him😔
That is also what I thought too.
Paranoid Schizophrenie
Religious madness! ??
don't be simpletons
middest take goes toooooooo
@@glengrant3884 no, paranoid schizophrenia
You've inspired that couple to reached out and help someone who is lost and needs validation and help. God works in mysterious ways.
Sasha should be evaluated for schizophrenia. It is most common with young males in their 20s. They shouldn’t be left on the streets because of lack of treatment, but that happens in my country too.
It's an unfortunate state of affairs that affects many mental disorders, because the patients also lose the ability to properly advocate for themselves and seek help.
I think sasha is suffering from schizophrenia I hope you can get him help xxxx
Could be psychosis as well... or something else, we are not specialists to tell that, even less from distance.
This is so moving. The young man definitely needs some mental help. His grandparents are so humble. Thank you for sharing this story.
This type of mental illness often begins around college age.
Unfortunately lots of ppl do not consider themselves needing mental help or medications
They will want to check him out physically, too. It is rare but certain deficiencies and other physical things can cause what looks like psychosis.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I was moved to tears
True. 😔 hope he somehow ends up getting it. ❤
Serghei, I am wondering if you can give an update on some people. Whatever happened to the sweet little boy who lived in the orphanage because his mother was murdered? What happened to the pregnant girl with the drug addict brother that you helped? Their grandson needs to get some mental health assistance and get on some medication to help.
Yes would love an update on them too ❤
Medication does help, but my son is also schizophrenic and he refuses to take his medication. He says it makes him feel that something isn't right. It's a tough situation. That's a common reaction to medication. They feel the voices are normal for them, and I'm sure they miss them when they're gone. The big danger is suicide. I hope this elderly couple get some support, and Sasha will cooperate with treatment. Not all schizophrenics do.
Yeah....
@@marygarcia5449 The update he gave was that the little boy was spending time on weekends with his father and the orphanage was going to see how that works out and was good before allowing more time. And he uses the cell phone Sergei got him to talk to his dad on week days.
Honestly after what happened with dima I don't think I want to know any updates.😢
Sasha needs to be evaluated so he can be treated. He seems very unstable, and likely should be on some medication. I worry he may hurt the grandparents, or himself. The grandmother was so grateful for your help it was very touching.
I love how you speak to people, especially with this young man. Never condescending, always with respect and taking people seriously.
Sounds as if he has developed schizophrenia, which can be controlled with the right medication. He needs to get medical help!
If i was you i would visit "Engineering mental sanity" channel with Jerry Marzinsky. Pills are NOT the solution.
I have just written the same in my post. My son has schizophrenia.
Will Sasha accept medication? I've heard that most afflicted persons reject being 'drugged'.
A lot of schizophrenic refuse medication but they have 36:48 36:48 injections that can be given once a month to control the symptoms. I don’t know of any country that is good at helping people who have mental illnesses.
@@lorenasawan361 I worked at a facility that occasionally administered a monthly injection of a drug commonly given orally, & it was relatively effective at reducing the severity of behavioral symptoms. Of course, the patient/family still had to give consent once informed of the potential benefits/side effects.
Mental illness is just that…..an illness. It’s sooo hard to get help for adults w/mental illness in my country. It’s so heartbreaking especially when it’s one of your loved ones and you feel completely helpless.
Pray for deliverance in Jesus name
I know Carol. Totally agree.
@@karenbors9932Jesus can’t fix schizophrenia.🤷♀️

Sergie is probably the best reminder that Russians are for the most part very kind hearted honest people and not to be confused with the government. I love this channel and share it often.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤he needs antipsychotic medications and life will be better for him and the grandparents. Love all kind work you guys doing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
That was obvious. I quit watching while he was talking to the Grandmother. He is obviously Schizophrenic.
My dear Sergei, Schizophrenia usually presents itself in the early twenties. There are meds that will make him act almost perfectly. Unfortunately when they are feeling so good they decide they don't need the meds anymore. It's a life log struggle. I pray that he has more success then others.
Sasha really needs professional help. His grandparents worry about him. They are so grateful for your kindness.
Felt sad when grandparents said we hid the knives and axe. They know he could be capable of something crazy but they keeping him home safe.
This young man must have experienced something traumatic with in the military. And suffers from PTSD. He needs so much help. My heart aches for him.
Many blessings & good health to you all.
if it was just PTSD he wouldn't be thinking those things re the devil. This man has schizophrenia. This commonly develops in people who are in their 20s or 30s so Sasha's age.
U GENIUS I BET AND WELL TRAVELLED
He needs help for his illness bless him. His grandparents also are so grateful for your help. God bless you Sergie. You are so kind ❤️🙏🏻🇬🇧
Those 2 little ones don't look exhausted and hungry to me! They looked loved, happy, clean and well fed! I don't know what happened to the young man in Moscow, but he needs some help emotionally. Thank God for the grandparents
This photo was taken before mother died i assume.
You are so kind and understanding, Sergei. Please keep us updated on this family. ❤️ 💙 💜
It wold be ironic if he was helping people and wasn't kind and understanding.
@@juliamoon6562 And it would be even more ironic if he wasn't getting money from followers and was helping others with his own money!
That poor guy, he needs immediate mental health care, it should be considered an emergency, especially as he mentioned that he wants to die. I hope he is able to get some help soon!
Seems like PTSD or Schizophrenia. Hope he gets the help he needs. Sergei what you do is great. God bless you in your work.❤
That's a pretty big swing . PTSD IS RELATED TO EVENTS EXPERIENCED,USUALLY LEAVING TRIGGERS THAT CAUSE SYMOTOMS TO EMERGE. SCHIZOID DISORDERS ARE RELATED TO THE INCONGRUENT THOUGHTS,FEELINGS AND BEHAVIORS THAT ARENT GROUNDED IN REALITY. THEY SEEM RIGHT TO THE PERSON.
He probably has both
@@servraghgiorsal7382 what is the illness that causes people to randomly write full sentences using capitol letters for no reason?
i think he s too calm to be schizophrenic, ptsd and maybe hypnotized.
@@worldsend69 ptsd can be caused from many traumatic events not just military.
Very sad . My daughter is in mental health, he needs help. But Thankyou for this, wishing them all, health(wealth enough to survive), and of course happiness.
He's a sweet tormented soul.
I hope he finds peace.
Edit: Please do an update on this wonderful man.
I love the patience you have to understand what is going on in his head. You never judge. You listen.
Sasha is probably schizophrenic. It usually occurs in the late teens or early 20’s. I am happy to see you help the grandparents❤. I don’t know what can be done for Sasha except for hospitalization, therapy and medications. Difficult situation 😞
Exactly you are 100 % right
I wonder if something traumatic happened during his time in the military and he is either having PTSD from it or feeling guilty from what he did himself.
We only have bits of the story, who knows what he went through or what happened. I agree with you.
Sasha is definitely suffering from schizophrenia, but of course that doesn't mean he doesn't have PTSD as well. According to Bessel Van Der Kolk, who wrote an amazing book called "The Body Keeps the Score", the majority of the Vietnam veterans he treated for PTSD didn't develop it because of the terrible things that they endured, but because of the terrible things they had done themselves. It is guilt that does the most damage.
I feel so very sorry for Sasha he needs help for sure, your always so kind to people well done and thank you.
I have noticed the young call the older people Uncle or Auntie or something. Granny. I cant remember but i know its through respect... i am 64, and i called all my parents friends Uncle or Aunt.. and my children did the same.. or if we didn't know them it was Mr and Mrs..
So much respect.. which makes me love these young people... and always you for what you do..
They usually call the older people babushka or uncles or Aunty
@@dicey8928 Ohhhhh! You just straightened out something for me. I used to always hear the word babushka and couldn't figure out just why people would be calling so many others "grandma" or something Otherwise, I know no Russian. NOW it makes sense. 😊
My God,this is heartbreaking, that poor man is tormented,he reminds me of someone that has crippling PTSD,May God love him,and help him.
TERRIBLY sad!!! The grandson is certainnl suffering from schhizophresia and needs medication, but he might refuse to take it.
It sounds like he might need some anti-psychotic medication. I hope that you will be able to help him further in some way. Peace
His grandmother said that he lost his mother 4 years ago and that this issue started 3 years ago. It could very well have had something to do with it since his dad was never in his life. He might have been really close with his mother.
That man needs some friends who understands him, real friends!
You truly show us how good people are from anywhere in the world.😀jo
I think Sasha has schizophrenia. If you could help them repay the loan and get the children returned, that would be amazing. God bless and help you📿📿📿.
There isn't a lot of room in that small house the kids would need another bedroom.
Their house could use some help too.
If the children were returned while he is still living there, they would be at great risk, as are the grandparents. He is clearly paranoid schizophrenic. Many cases of persons with this mental illness, who always have extreme religious mania, murdering an entire family because they heard voices in their head (sometimes God, sometimes the devil) ordering them to do it.
Even if the children could be visited by their grandparents or visit their grandparents, they appear to be good people and family is important.
@@Jayapullani Yes but thetes no reason they shouldn't have their grandkids over strangers.
Thanks for helping so many in need. I think of Tanya often and poor Dima. Get her in some counseling and rehab.
What an amazing story. You were amazing talking to Shasha, non judgemental!!
Agree. Have you done any counciling courses or does it just come naturally. Amazing. 👍
Sasha
The poor young man needs trained medical professionals to help with his mental issues. He needs to be institutionalised for his own safety where he can get regular counselling to get to the root of his problems. He’s clearly very fearful but there’s a kind soul inside him. He’s a young man with all his life ahead of him, I hope you can point him in the right direction to get the help he so clearly needs. Love from the UK 😊
Don't ever change this Channel in any way. The way it is presented is Brilliant and Beautiful and Educates us in how Bad the situation is in Russia. Bad in rural Russia not in Russian bigger cities.
You are so patronising, how bad it is in Russia, maybe you are lucky not to born into an indigenous Australian family or people will be saying, how they cannot believe how bad it is in Australia..
Its common that psychological disorders start in young men in their 20s and 30s.
Taking "God" to seriuosly always leads to tragic ends

Very different story. Perhaps he got hurt in military? Or..I think, not positive, he might be the age when young people, especially men, get schizophrenia? It’s nice of you to help not only the young man, but also his grandparents. You’re Superman but, not all things can maybe be explained? I hope you keep us up to date with this family
You are correct. Most scizophrenia victims experience their first episodes in early adulthood.
he sure has demons causing him issues,, i will add him to my prayer list

Help the grandparents if you can . He surely cannot repair the roof anymore .
Sounds very much like he is Scitzophrenic. The voices are the give away.
The different colored lights he sees over each of his shoulders as well.
And the age of onset. And the religious delusions.
This young man needs professional help but I don't know how anyone could convince him to get it. You are so understanding, you listen to him carefully and don't try to belittle him in any way. Good luck.
I have known 2 people just like this guy, they are both Schizophrenic. I'm not sure what mental health services you have there, but it does take some time to get medications correct, I hope he gets the help he needs.
The guy (he looks so nice!) needs professional help. And a.s.a.p., because more the time elapses, more he will dive into his thoughts and obsessions.
Someone should help him distinguish between eating (sustenance, good) and Gluttony (over-eating, bad/sin) - and other actions (sleep vs sloth, etc) which he thinks are all sinful.
If he could be reasoned with he would be normal.
Right, because reason is helping with psychosis.
Thanks Sirgay… appreciate your help. The world needs more of you.
You are an angel. I will keep this young man in my prayers.
Thanks Sergei...the guy needs medical check up please help him...
Some good food and could be dehydrated.
When he speaks to Dima, I hear that and think that he's talking to Tanya's late husband.
Same, i was looking for Dima thinking this was filmed before his accident.
Schizophrenia or Bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorders or severe depression can cause you to hear voices.
People w/Schizoaffective illness see things that aren’t there more than hearing voices. My family member has been diagnosed with this.
They also have audio hallucinations. My ex had schizophrenia Affective disorder.
So can prolonged untreated diabetes combined with malnutrition. Thank you Sergey!

Thankyou also for people Olya and her husband….you are angels!
The grandparents had to go thru the bullshit at their age. Bureaucracy crapp.
In the US wallpaper used to be quite expensive and only wealthy people had it. I wonder if it was the same in Russia. Houses seem so cobbled together and decrepit and then I see the wallpaper. I'll never understand life anywhere but Sergei and his good heart make me feel better.
Putin took all$$$$ and deprived citizens of health and wealth.
Bless them . He needs an evaluation. His grandparents are standing by him .
I am wondering if the young man was exposed to cult like stuff in college when he went away for school. I would like to know more. He is definitely being tortured and needs to be set free.
The Church is not a cult. He may be hypersensitive.
