I was actually friends with a carbander bee one,on April 12 2019 it was a rainy day in Alabama i saw a wet bee, i felt sorry for it so i took him inside so he can dry off, we talked for a bit, i made sure he can fly again, and then eventually the rain cleared and i decided to take him back to his friends, boy im going to miss him. I called him jeff. Then a few weeks later he died because of a bird, please pay your respects to jeff the carbander bee. He still live on in our hearts.

Just the other day, a very large carpenter bee decided to join to my outdoor family hangout. We were sitting on our backyard patio, enjoying the nice weather. The bee then flew up around and eventually took a liking to my mom. We initially thought it was a bumblebee because of how big it was, but it was all-black with a yellow stripe just beneath its head, which I then saw resembled most pictures of carpenter bees. I figured it was a male since it was just hovered around my mom, and I know males like to hover. It was BIG. It kept landing on my mom's shoulder, arm, and head, not even aggressively or trying to sting. It's feelers were out, so we knew it was trying to pollinate her. It was kind of adorable, to be honest. It never got angry or tried to be aggressive, although it did fly in front of her face a couple of times as it was moving around. Eventually my mom got nervous, so she slowly got up and tried to walk away, and the bee kept following her, although it did eventually fly off. This experience makes me believe that all species of bee are great, and we must protect them at all costs. Wasps, however, can literally buzz off.

bees are precious, but wasps deserve some love too... they are very intelligent animals and can remember faces, so if you have a nest nearby your house, it's best to act calmly around it so they know you're not a threat. wasps take care of garden pests, clean up corpses of dead slugs and bugs, and some species pollinate flowers too. i'm scared to all hell of wasps but whenever they come up and try to eat my burger when i'm outside for a meal i found plucking a small piece of meat off my patty and placing it where they can find it makes them leave you alone real quick!

벌들이 생각보다 똑똑합니다. 군대에서 태풍 오던 날 호박벌 한 마리가 못 날고 기어가는 거 보고 데려와서 키웠더니 따라다니면서 핸들링도 하고 동기들이랑 집도 꾸며주고 하면서 놀았던 기억이 있습니다. 2주 조금 안 돼서 수명이 다하긴 했지만 고된 군 생활에 힘이 된 반려 벌? 이었습니다.

Aw, this brings back memories of my childhood... (which was mostly spent in hospitals and rehab centers) In particular, it reminds me of my time at a certain hospital which had a little garden that I'd visit very often. There were a lot of bumblebees there, and after a few months, they would just fly right up to me and sit on the palm of my hand and let me pet them! (That's how I kinda got my nickname, "Lee-Bee") And they knew the route I would usually take, too. Every time our paths crossed, the bees would stop and wait for me to go by.

I've handled lots of bees , the only time I ever got stung was picking one up when I was a toddler , never pick one up instead encourage them to walk into your hand , they are such gentle creatures and i used to teach my daughter how to stroke them when they were in the garden on flowers , one day she came running in saying " dad I've stroked ten bees " but now as a young adult she's more afraid of them even though she remembers stroking them.
I'm like your daughter but with butterflies and jellyfish: before I was 7-8 years old, I caught them (but without harming them, I couldn't stand killing a butterfly for a collection even though it was a school assignment for summer when I was 11-12. And I started being afraid of jellyfish when I was 9, and of butterflies when I was 21-23.

These little beauty's are completely harmless , I remember I used to be terrified of wasps until I had a serious road accident and spending months in hospital going through all kinds of pain and physio after losing my leg , sometime after getting out of hospital I was in the garden being pestered by wasps and surprised myself by not really caring about them even landing on me , in fact I pestered one back and held it down with my finger , when it stung me I shouted ooyah bugger much to the amusement of my wife and daughter , now they both keep telling me whenever we're outside to stop pestering the wasps , I just think what's the worst it can do ? So Atriya what's the worst a butterfly can do ?
I have a deep love for bees. But I got chased out a bush by angry wasps years ago, numerous stings, and I just have not been the same with anything that buzzes and is yellow and black ever since. The whole "stand still and it wont sting" deal only works when you are not quadruple shitting ur pants and having a major panic attack lol.
@Sushiirull I think you must be American Sushiirull , we jus call them wasps , anyway you can't compare wasps to bees , bees just mind their own business and get on with their work , wasps are pests that like to get into your food and drink , but even wasps don't normally sting you for no reason , even if that reason is an accident , I once saw a wasp fly into someone after being hit by a ceiling fan and the wasp stung the person because it was angry and thought the cause was him , or a wasp lands on someone and if that person goes to sweep it of not knowing what it is gets stung , I've had a wasp walk the length of my arm looking for food then just fly away.
