The stories of Kara and Markus are just there so we can understand deviants more. What makes them turn into a deviant in the first place and their goal. To turn Connor into a human, we must understand how the other deviants become what they are.

80th time rewatching this, STILL CANT GET OVER HOW GOOD IT IS. all the characters felt exactly in character while still having fun moments that weren’t super awkward or felt forced !!!! don’t know if I mentioned this in one of my last comments but I totally LOVE the character designs. 😭😭 NORTH IS SO CUTE and I love Markus and Connor’s too!!
