We are overloaded with Asian Shield Bugs, they are a bit bigger than Ladybirds so I will give them a try, only problem is, they have an awful smell to them, mixed with Black Powder smoke it may be interesting, I assume the juice and hard shells contributes to the cleaner barrel? @@453421abcdefg12345 I was first just interested in the shell for patch protection, but was presently surprised to discover it’s the stinky juice that’s the real life saver. Chemically alters the sulfur compounds to reduce smell, fouling buildup, and corrosion. Probably used by the Chinese for centuries. Stay safe Chris, have a good winter, and hope for a better political situation. O.R.

Suppose it isn’t all bad though because it gave her time to mow the grass and clean up around the yard before winter sets in. O.R.
