The overtime is the most frustrating thing in Splatoon but is one of the things that I love more in the game, Nice video btw.

At least In Rainmaker I`m good at comebacks :P

It IS satisfying when you`re in the winning team in that however, but that only happens on Blackbelly for me...

Never give up hope. One time my whole team was dead and I respawned first, got to the zone with 2 seconds left and since I was using .52 Gal which splats super fast, I got two splats in the Mahi Mahi zone by luck which stopped the timer and I proceed to trade with the third person but luckily my teammates take control. We get our timer to 5 and it's overtime with everyone alive and painting the zone. 4 squids on one side of the zone, 4 on the other. We all just kept shooting at the zone which was still neutral. Then the enemy team gets a bubbler and I thought it was over but I spammed walls which protected us against the bubblers and then we splatted them, covered the zone, and won. One of the best moments I ever had in Splatoon.

The same thing happened to me the other day. We were winning and got to one second but the other team made a comeback and won. I thought it was me in the video because like your opponent I also am in S and was using the fresh squifer but I saw we had different names

I played a game like this. my team got to 1 percent, then lost control. luckily, we got control back and won!

So me and my friends were doing a squad battle. Everyone on my team except me got killed. So once their counter got down to 2, I stopped it. And then I was the one who got our team down to 0! Literally my friends were all like "WE ARE SO DEAD! ;-;"
And then BADA bing BADA boom we won. And that is how I learned how to easily do amazing comebackz.

This literally happened to me once in the same exact map! Except... they never got control over the zone ever again. It was one of my best and most intense matches ever.

GG and Great video!! I only get to play Splatoon on my fiance's Wii U. We play Turf Wars first but if there is a doable Map for Rank we both tried it out. Today was RainMaker on Underpass and Towers, I got a KO on my second match. My fiance enjoys watching me play since like to be sneaky XD

My fiance luck out since I'm a Gamer in my family too. I'm just glad that there are some games we can play together. We both have a lot of interesting matches in Splatoon and great memories for some of the matches. My favorite memory is that I was charging the RainMaker while going up the wall but a Dynamo jump down and was about to splat me. So I sniped the Dynamo with a charged shot from the RainMaker!!! XDD

Overtime knockout love it
All that effort it took was apparently for nothing. Far more embarrassing than losing a 100x battle.
I have written to Nintendo twenty-two times in the past two years asking that they change it to make you not lose your 99 points in a score of 99-Knockout, but they have never EVER considered it, and I suspect that's because they want to make me stop.
Now I want to see a Tower Control comeback.

I really hate the logic of ranked battles: if you're the best in the team and your team wins, you get a small amount of points, if you're the shittiest, you get a big amount of points. If your team loses and you were the best, you lose a whole bunch of points and if you're the shittiest, you lose the least amount of them

Something similar happened to me
So it was almost over they wre at 52, then i was just like LEROYYYYY JANKENS and got us into the lead.
that happened to me once, I was in a squad battle with my 3 friends, splat zones,, and there was a Japanese team of 3 and were like "pfft, this is easy, 4v3." tHEN SHIT DUDE, THEY WERE KICKING ASS, THEY WERE AT 2 AND WE ALMOST GAVE UP, 100 TO 2 NAHH, but then huge comeback and somehow we WON?! we kept getting the same Japanese players everytime we squad but we kept winning holy god that was so intense... Tip: don't mess with Japanese players, holy shit..
This happened to me in a game of Tower Control
This once happened on Tower control when the other team was one point away from winning, my team rode the tower all the way to a knockout kinda. It said we got a knockout but the other team got 99 points. It was confusing
