this song makes tons of people happy, but for me, it was the opposite... I recently started playing Neko Atsume, and I love the cute kitties, the first time I played, however, the xmas event was on. it reminded me too much of my own cat, who passed away just before Christmas, his name was Jack. he was so important to me, as every cat is to their family he grew up with me, from when I was 6 till 2015. I remember I would push him around in a little baby stroller, or he would sleep on a plastic tea tray I had. I remember he used to curl up on the end of my bed and bite my toes when I slept. I remember how he would go outside in our backyard and eat the grass, and he looked just like a cow with his black and white markings I know he's still in my heart, but it just makes me sad that I won't be able to see him or pet his fur and hug him. we wouldn't have had to put him down if it wasn't for disease... we still have plenty of pictures and can visit his grave when we go to my grandparents' house, but I just really miss him on the day he passed, I wasn't crying. I was just shocked. I just went to bed and stayed there the whole day. I couldn't feel any emotion, and then it hit me at 2 AM, I woke up realizing it was real, he was gone, and I broke down crying. my father came in the room to see what was wrong. he was tearing up about this whole situation too. he always said he wouldn't grow attached to Jack, but it looks like he did after all I'm sorry for the super long comment and I really doubt anyone will want to read this, but if you do, thank you for understanding. this helped me to get my feelings out and feel a bit better. please feel free to share your own stories of your lost & loved pets in the replies. and please remember, they were all loved, and are still with you spiritually.

I actually renamed Sunny after my cat because I have a calico, and she's my favorite. I've been away for school for almost a year, and this game has made me feel just a little closer to her.
It was really late when I first had it snow in, so I figured that the music was because of the time of day and the snow was the game just catching up to the current season. So now I think of the song as a lullaby lol

This song reminds me of the three cats I had. The first one, Beepers. She was a 3 year old Tabby rescue. We couldn't keep her because she just wasn't for our family, and then Hanz and Franz. They were twins, had black fur, and were Maincoon/Brittish short hair mix that we had when they were kittens. We couldn't keep them because one if my family members became allergic. I hope they are happy with their current owners.

We'd spend all day showing each other the cats we had attracted and it was kind of a strong bonding experience between the two of us. We eventually broke up, and I moved out. I haven't checked on the game nearly as often- maybe once or twice a week. It just kinda makes me sad now.
I played Neko Atsume while waiting for my mom to finish her meeting with some angry client of hers one time. I was waiting in the lobby, and my mom was inside her client's office. I never thought that I'd get so addicted to Neko Atsume that I'd forget to pay attention to my surroundings. Because the next thing I knew, my mom already walked past by me. Handcuffed, and was being held by 2 police officers. I didn't know the reason why she was arrested. I haven't played Neko Atsume since. >_>
@@amberquartz9468 She apparently was charged for fraud and put on media but the whole case turned out to be exaggerated and it wasn't that bad? My mom never told me the full story tbh
My little brother (6 years old) saw this and he said he felt sorry for the cats. I asked him why and he replied, " 'Cause they're falling 'to their deaths" ..................................... Really, I have no idea where he got that idea.........
