I'm first chair trumpet in high school and I think this is great but when I played this song long ago in 6th grade we played this with a lot of power and that's what this song is about
i PLAYED THIS last Saturday at a concert in front of judges and we got first place out of other 10 bands in are band and orchestra!!! you see this song wins it evrytime. they go crazy for it. ;)
I'm playing this song as flute I'm the best in my class there s 8 flutes 7 carlinetts and 6 sax and 9 trumpets and 10 shares and 4 bass drums we all good with 4 tuba and bartone and others
Peace Like A Boss, YOU ARE SO RIGHT. in seventh grade... THEY DO NOT LEAVE YOU ALONE WITH THE TEMPO AND HOW LONG YOU HOLD THE NOTES. I am in seventh grade and all of this is 100% TRUE. also most of the trumpets at the end didn't hit the high D, If they can't do that, THEN HEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLL NO, those 6th graders are not gonna make it through Ceremonial Fanfare. I am the only tuba in 6th grade at my school and i was wanting to know if i my band and i can take some of theirs cuz u cant hear me cuz the bass drums are too loud and i mean loud... Jk lol
didn't get to learn this, school messed up scheduling with the new principal, I should have 4th pd band (intermediate) but instead I have 4th-5th pd math (supposed to help with algebra/pre-algebra, I'm not failing and got intensive b/c of that) so I have 6th pd band (adv)
I mean the song was good but they didn't play all the dynamics correctly...Any band can play loud but a great band can play dynamics...Also, they didn't play using the correct tempo... But like I said They played it really good for 6th graders

I played this 2 years ago, yet I still find myself unconsciously tapping the rhythm Clarinet 1 plays with my foot or thumb sometimes.

When I listen to it, I hear the saxophone better than anything else. The play a lower melody
