Going to start some of my lisianthus over lunch today. Crossing my fingers they work as I didn't buy new seeds and am just using up what I had leftover. Loved having this beautiful flower in arrangements last year. Thanks for sharing your process!
I can't wait to grow Voyage II Champagne. Lisa Mason Zeigler had then in one of her recent videos & theu were stunning! The pink & lavender voyage II were beautiful last year! I also like the Arena & Echo variety. It's not as hard as people say!
Last year I started 150 Lisi seeds and had about 1/2 germination. We ended up buying a FL home for the winters in Feb and I brought those babies down with me. I think they loved my lanai and grew pretty well. I flew back home mid March to start my flower seeds for my flower farm and mid April by husband drove them back to MI. I was surprised he kept them alive that month. I planted them out in my raised beds and they bloomed beautiful. This year I just bought plugs through Farmer Bailey as I knew I couldn't grow them again. They are a gorgeous flower! Great video!
Much needed, refreshing beauty on a gloomy, rainy day. Excellent Lisianthus seed choice! (exact same ones I’m growing! 😂) This is my first time growing Arena gold and Light apricot. Super excited and First Love! Hopefully it’s a great year for Lisianthus everywhere! 💚
I have a small cut flower farm and I’ve grown lisianthus from seed, I have to use a toothpick. This year I also ordered plugs from Farmer Bailey. Happy growing!
I had success growing lisianthus last year. I feel it was a total fluke on my part. I’m going to try again maybe starting a few more than last year. We’ll see how it goes. ❄️💚🙃
I always have a plan B and order about 1k plugs or so just because I'm guaranteed to have them. It's just a fun challenge to grow them, so I give it a try every year.
First timer here growing indoors and my lisianthus have germinated 🙌🙌😍
Great video, thanks so much!!
They are hard to get started but if you get them going they are amazing! Well done!

It's always worth a try, and then don't be too hard on yourself if it doesn't go as planned! Sounds like a fantastic way to spend your lunch hour.

I agree! I just struggle with darker colors and thrips off and on so tend to stay with the lighter colors.
I loved seeing the landscape shots and hearing the geese!! A lovely intro. Thank you :)

They are just one of the most beautiful flowers we grow. Bailey plugs do a nice job with plugs.
This was lovely, thank you.

They are so worth it! Good luck 👍
I love your video! Thank you for the encouragement!! I had to subscribe!

They are with the price tag for plugs and the labor of love in planting from seed.
Our hummingbirds look at us through the patio door as if saying hey bozo fill up the feeder it’s empty! ❄️💚🙃
They do! Mine sits on the wastiria vine just outside the window and watches me, funny birds 🐦
I live in a wet area too and January can feel so long! I love your positive attitude

Thank you the show on a dreadful January day. Inspiring. Do Lisianthus seeds need light to germinate, i.e. like foxgloves?
Lisianthus does need light to germinate! Thanks for hanging out with us.
When do you take the Lisianthus to the greenhouse after they germinate?
When they are ready up and going, partly because I'll forget about them in the mess of all the other seedlings.
After you put the vermiculite on did you lightly spray the vermiculite with water? ❄️💚🙃
I just misted them a touch.
