I love all of Michael's compositions. He's truly gifted, whether by his own divine soul, God, the fey folk, or something between them all! This track represents my favourite style of his works, however. These ethereal suspensions, contemplating both heaven and earth are purer, truer resonances than many composers dare, unbound by the naive and all-too-restrictive modern conventions of harmony!
This brought about the same feelings for me that one might have after reading an incredible book, where you just need to sit and stare at a wall to fully comprehend the beauty of what was just experienced. Phenomenal!
