Dear Kyle, I have huge respect to your DNF. I had a DNF once (a 100k race too) and it had impacted me so much, I stopped running for many years. I was very young, reckless and started with an injury. A recipe for disaster. What I want to say to you is, that I appreciate you very much that you uploaded this video. Not every race is a successful one but we can always learn from it. I wish you a good recovery and many subscribers in the future. Greetings from Germany! Kris

@krisrennt8703 Thanks Kris 🇩🇪! You're exactly right. I'm well on the road to recovery and can't wait to get back out there.

Impressive. Heartbreaking to DNF. I've also not shared things I've filmed because I don't want to focus on my failings. But you didn't fail. You pushed yourself more than 99% of people ever do. Inspiring.

Great Video! As a marathoner, I understand the games played in your head. This video amongst others draws me to test myself and try out an ultra. Thanks for sharing your journey.

Tough race Kyle. You did very well to last as long as you did after I saw those nasty blisters on your “pruned” feet. Positive attitude goes far and there will always be other races on the horizon.

You did so well, and outdid yourself for making that decision. A good watch!

@kylejlmiller I didn't do the 110, I did 32 with 70 pounds of gear on my back haha.
But this was the last year of the 110km, 100 mile and 10km. Replaced with a new 135km distance.

@pb2959 yeah I noticed! I'll have to run the 135k for redemption 😂

To live near and know pretty well MSA you made the right call to call it DNF mate...MSA is more a b**ch to climb. Don't worry, your effort was most impressive and and achievement all by itself. Elevation in this part of Qc and on the lenght of this particular race is no joke. Rest well and train harder for next year, I'm sure you have all in your mindset and physic to achieve it later on.
