Many have experienced the pain of a weaponized Bible used to tell them they are unwelcome, unloved, inferior, or “intrinsically disordered” for being LGBTQIA+. In this presentation and conversation, bible scholar Dr. Richard Liantonio will discuss how faithful reading and interpretation of the Bible can open a liberative path toward experiencing God’s love, welcome, and affirmation of LGBTQIA+ persons.
