She was a kid coming from a comunist country, timorate , having a very strict coatch since she was 6 years old. She did very well in those circumstances.

.................. She was an "unofficial competitor" in the '75 European Championships, too. She was too young, so Karolyi snuck her in as an alternate and she took four gold medals, including the AA, and utterly destroyed Russia's reigning queen of gymnastics.

Yup! He snuck four of them in Nadia and another girl competed , Nadia won and the Russian favorite was crying and her coaches were standing there in shock. Did you read her book?

That interpreter sucks lol, interviewer asked "are you a shy person?".
The interpreter told Nadia "you're too quiet, speak louder"

She was shy, but as a romanian speaker I can tell you that the translator does a very bad job at telling Nadia the questions she's been asked by the interviewer.
