Nice video Sarah! I love your enthusiasm & the fact that you put your heart & soul into all that you do. You are an inspiration to many photographers. Cheers & best wishes for your continued success.❤😊
GREAT yellow dress photo in a foreign country. Your instruction discussion is excellent! I enjoyed this video very much. Enjoyed you and your partner in crime at the end.
Ophelia was awesome, you have my like as always and dont get under my bed. Great video as always Sarah. I reckon Ophelia could get in on the yellow dress/blue bells action shot.
Ophelia was a perfect addition. What a darling. Great video Sarah. Excellent breakdown on how to look at a scene and isolate what you want out of it. Composition is so so so so important. Thanks for the tips and the beautiful shot!!
No fair using a fairy princess to get us to subscribe. 5 minute major in the penalty box for you for heart strung abuse!!! 😂😂😂 The family life agrees with you! 😊 You look very relaxed. WINK WINK!! I try to find sun rays with atmosphere shining through the trees. Yeah, so I don't take very many photos in the woods!! Lol Jk I like the f4 look when it blurs the foreground. I made a mistake trying to shoot a path with my camera on the ground. All I got was the gravel and the trees. NO path. It still had a unique look . The gravel in front of the lens was blured and the gravel on the tree line below the trees was sharp. The green of the leaves and the darkness of the bark in contrast to the gravel was kinda of cool. Not a wall hanger, but an accidental learning moment of a different look to a composition. Fun video, ma lady!! Always a pleasure!😊
Thanks for the comment Brian and she was so thrilled to be in the video 😂💛 It was adorable! Don’t forget to subscribe or she will hide under your bed people!!! Lol!!!!!
super cute ending! not that you would have done in this shot. but have you ever explored bracketing your shots? this last year I have been doing some bracketing shots to help keep some of the highlights. I don't know how good it would look for portraits. as always great vid!
Hi Sarah, your videos are so helpful and well explained. I am recently semiretired and spending much of my spare time with photography, so I am learning with you help. Thank you. Peter.
@@sarahlyndsay I’ve had the Action X50 for a couple years now and just purchased the Explorer v2 35L and I love both of them! I have both Peter McKinnon bags but I think the Shimoda bags are superior! Great photo by the way!!!
Well apparently it’s not so secret anymore but I am doing my duty until June and have been hush hush on it! 😂 The yellow 🥲 the best choice in my opinion!
@@sarahlyndsay too much yellow for me! I’d rather see a red/black combo…Yellow is great in the snow but if you’re in a wooded area especially on the fall you’ll blend in. A bright lifeguard red with black accents would be ideal!
Oh my gosh!!! Ophelia was soooo cute!! I did like this video and I'm already subbed so please tell her to not hide under my bed :D. Anyway thanks for the videos. I'm currently binge watching right now because I've been on some travels. I think you are my favourite photographer on youtube. You are relaxing to watch, have good music and beautiful scenes.. plus you give some really good and practical nuggets for those who are into the business side of photography. BTW for a video idea: I've been photographing in the Rockies and I plan to go back in the Fall and one of my big fears is encountering bears. Would you be interested in making a video about how you can be confident, safe and respectful photographing in areas where they may happen to be?
I'm late to your videos but love them. As I was watching this one for the first time I found myself wondering how you photograph yourself in the image. I'm assuming it's some sort of remote trigger but I'm curious. I really enjoy what you do and how you do it. BTW, I like Sean Tucker also. Thank you for what you do and for sharing it. Be well.
Lol. So cute. 👍
Thanks! Cute kid hey!
Love the dress shot in the forest very nice
Thank you! 🙏💛
Absolutely brilliant photo perfect light and balance.
Another beautiful video and what a wonderful ending.

Great video, Sarah! One of my favorite yellow dress captures of yours so far! 👌
Thanks for the tips. Beautiful shot.
Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing.
Love the kid.
Right 😂 “Bye bye, I’m going to hide under your bed now”
Really beautiful video Sarah!
OMG! What a joyful, scary little sprite that is Ophelia!!! Watch out for that one. Loved this shoot and harsh light tips.
Looks like you made a new friend. I'm going to check under my bed right now. Have a great trip!
😂😂😂 what a riot she is. Such a cutie!
Great info. Thank you!!!
Thanks for watching! Appreciate it! 💛

informative video
That was a really neat picture and process. Thanks!!
Thanks for watching!! Appreciate it!!
We call them ramsons (the garlic) :) I forage them and make amazing pesto. If you were in SW London there's some incredible foraging!
Very nice image,
Thank you! 💛
Ophilia, you give us a good advice! 😁👍So cute! Sarah, love how you share you process for capturing (and protect) the harsh light. Beautiful image! 💛
Simply stunning shot and one of your very best so far. Hope you are keeping well and managed to get plenty of well earned rest.
Another brilliant shoot, Sean also did a video entitled embrace the shadows
Thank you! I have not! Will have to check it out 💛😁

Awwww Peter this makes me happy!! 💛💛 Keep shooting. It’s such a great mindful space!!
Obvs your photography videos are awesome, as is this one, but... I really love the soundtrack music you choose. Olive James are cool. 😊
Yay! You recognized it!! I need to remember to put the music in my videos description 💛💛💛
@@sarahlyndsay Yes, you definitely must remember! Love your musical choices.
How’s that new model of Shimoda bag treating you! 😊 I’ve seen the yellow and the new teal one
Hehehe! Secret until June! But of course is amazing 😁

Hey Wally!! Thanks for stopping by.
Sometimes I use a remote on my phone (if the app is working 😂) but mostly I use my cameras intervalometer timer 💛
Och, great…thank you for little tutorial about harsh light…. In this case, is it important to avoid harsh light in the sky?
Depends on the scene! I would use the harsh light to my advantage. Thanks for watching! 💛
What is that yellow dress made out of?! It has been to all corners of the world and still looks great!
It’s chiffon! It’s meant for photography. It’s actually quite dirty and ripped at the bottom but you can never tell in photos 💛
As you know sarah the light in Australia 🇦🇺 can be super harsh
Ohhhhh yes! 😂 I know very well how harsh it can be. Miss Aus 😢
I love ❤you
You are a stunning photographer… please let little miss know what I did like and subscribe so no need to hide under by bed to scare me 😂
COME TO DARTMOOR IN DEVON AND ILL SHOW YOU THE BEAUTY
