The RB is lovely- I used one in college heavy but great . I have it’s bro the RZ67, one word of warning don’t use it near people who are of a nervous disposition or wildlife the cluck of the shutter will scare animals off and frighten nervous people 🤣

"Now where did I put that tree?" "It must be here somewhere, it's like my car keys or glasses, they've just disappeared." You really should be more careful where you put things. When the two walkers and their dog passed, I'd have taken the picture. I love getting free 'props' in my pictures.
Love that print. I have been out of the hobby for quite a while (I really was upset when they took my Kodachrome away) but I want to get back in with retirement. I want to focus on MF B&W and I love the look of that ortho. Maybe I can realize my dream of having a darkroom.
Lots of gear around still on Facebook Market Place and also schools I found (Schools don't use the darkroom anymore and usually still have their darkroom gear stored away in a cupboard.
Roger, really enjoyed the darkroom session in particular how you burnt in the areas with your hand. Finally had a go in my own darkroom the other day, first time in 30 years, and used up a lot of paper trying to get my burning technique right.... Soooo much more fun than scanning into the computer. I also used Ilford multigrade pearl paper loved it beautiful silky finish
I have to say that I really like the medium format photo better! No offense meant! I really love your work and I hope to get back into the darkroom sometime in the near future! At the moment I shoot film sporadically and use a scanner to upload to my computer, but you are urging me forward to the good old darkroom days! Hoping to move in a year or two and will make a dedicated darkroom when I do! Keep up the great work!

Thanks for all the fantastic and informative and inspiring content you put out Roger . I really enjoyed everything you put out last year . I love you style and that you add humour to your videos as well . This print is beautiful and has inspired me to go out on the South Downs in Sussex where I live as there are many similar wind shaped trees and just got my first fully working medium format camera ( a Minolta autocord) . So I have to see what I can come up with as in just itching to get out and use it . Have a great , fun filled and creative 2021. . Kind regards.Clive

I have encountered Ilford Ortho before, as it was a Large Format film long before it was available as 35mm. I never shot a comparison with FP4.
I checked out the print on Ebay! Wow! That is Awesome! Nice job Roger!

You can do a lot with burning and dodging away. Even if you get Halos, still can look good
