Like how Ross and you are very chill as a couple. Feel like he's a little edgier and more decisive version of you and that complements you like Emma as a friend compliments you. He's also interested in something you love which is very green flagg-y ❤!
😂 Ross' inability to keep a straight face when you say the funny names is a ✨mood✨ I hope he becomes a regular fixture. Going to a plant swap together feels like a top tier couple activity.
The burrows tail is so cool, I love their jelly bean vibes! Ross was fun too, its so nice he's genuinely taking an interest in your hobbies/ passion and getting involved. Maybe he can update us on his colourful plants in future! A little video of him reacting to colourful/ bizarre plants might be fun!
I personally have a soft spot for purple plants, so I think Ross has pretty good taste! My boyfriend would have come away with a Croton for sure, the more colourful the better. 😂
You bounce off each other so well and I’m so happy Claire, also some amazing plants there. I wish I was closer cause I want to come! Do more vids together please 🙏🏾💕
I love your channel and your enthusiasm. As an old guy dabbling with houseplants in my retirement I'm really enjoying learning from you. Ross looks a really nice guy and yes please, let's see more of the two of you together, you're a great team. ❤
Ross is adorable and I hope he goes full insane planty nerd with you as his guide! Don’t fear the oxalis, it can be soooo rewarding once you get it right and might be worth getting more corms to make a fuller pot.
Really enjoy your take on plants, but definitely also enjoyed the Ross addition. I think C.S. Lewis said that we see different aspects of our friends when they are with others, so it is fun to get to know him and you with him, as well. Also, truth be told, I was wishing I wasn’t across the pond when I saw you were taking the purple-haired plant to the swap, as I’ve been longing for one myself since your new house plant tour. So glad he rescued it! Lol!
Oh lovely to meet Robert/Ross 😂 you can absolutely grow oxalis outside in your balcony Clare, I have one that lives outside all year round, it dies back in the colder months but grows again bigger and more beauty the next growing season
The first time I had my husband come with me to a local plant sale he picked out a little tradescantia tricolor, lol. I am NOT a fan of tradescantia but I now care for a massive trailing tricolor 😂
Love Ross! You and Emma should totally do a video on your joined channel of the 2 guys doing plant chores but with minimal instruction 😂 like a few easy repots and mixing their own soil (with no labels telling them what's what). Or review some of their favourite plants without you around so they can really roast some plants 😂
We are doing a small plant swap/give away at work next week! Hoping it will start some new conversations and bring a cozy vibe to the office. Nice to meet you, Ross.🖐️
I've honestly never done a plant swap before. It's a bit scary, but I'd love to try it someday. And yes, more Ross please! You both are very fun and entertaining together!
It's so funny watching someone, who was never into plants + someone who's crazy about them 😂 Like that part where you're trying to explain why that teeny tiny peace of hoya must be fun when you could get a full "bush" of Tradescantia instead 😅 BTW, very happy for both of you 😉
Ross is awesome, congrats to the two of you.🎉 The trailing plant that he got ( green on top , pink & purple at the bottom) looks like a Bridal veil houseplant.
I would love to see and learn how to start a bin to propagate. I’ve seen a few people showing how they’re cuttings are doing, but, how, which, when where, do I start? I’m scared to rot them all. Does it have to be a clear bin and clear lid. Heated? Under lights or in a window. Would you do a how-to on this? Btw, you have the most calming voice and demeanour. Love watching you and love the long videos.
So nice to meet Ross / Rob 😂 You absolutely can keep that oxalis outside! I've got them planted directly in the ground outside and they come back every spring / have these purple ones and plum crazy to!
I. Love. Seeing you two together. You already glow but with him you seem to shine even more❤️ You just mesh well....different but complimentary differences. Sometimes you see couples do these videos and the influencer tends to talk over and kind of drown out their partner..... i didnt see that in this with you two. I'm always a fan when couples show true interest in each others hobbies and I see that in his eyes like true enjoyment. I dunno... im fangirling over you two. Def would like to see more of you two....maybe a little series with you both
That begonia is called Looking Glass. It is a cane begonia. Doesn't need a terrarium. All begonias in general have hairlike roots. They must be able to dry out almost to the point of drooping. I gage mine by the weight of pot. I really enjoy your vids. 😊🌷
Such a fun video!!! The plant swap looked like so much fun!!!! Also Ross seems so nice and fun, so glad he enjoyed the swap! I hope you’re having an awesome day can’t wait to watch your next video!!! 🥰
Hi Claire and Ross 👋🏼. Loved the video of both your plant hauls and taking us along to the plant swap thank you. Wonderful to see someone new joining the planty family, and no one better to learn from than you Claire. It would be great to see more of Ross in the channel if and when you have time. 👍🌱💚
I love your channel so much and every time I see you post it makes me so happy. In fact, I wouldn't mind more videos a week. I would watch u literally do anything with your plants
Looking Glass is one of my favorite Begonias and is sooo easy! Mine lives in ambient room conditions and receives afternoon sun. They grow extremely fast!
You both got such great and different plants, it's a unique look at relationships! Loved seeing Rossbert, it's a different view seeing a spouse with a novice interest in such a niche hobby. Love your content!!
I love the idea of a plants swap so thank you very much for sharing this. I’m searching my area for something like this, although my collection is very small and have much to swap😕
I wish they have a plant swap where we are. I love that Hoya Swarak cutting you have. Do you do plant swap from different countries in postings? England - Ireland? We are kinda neighbours.
Like how Ross and you are very chill as a couple. Feel like he's a little edgier and more decisive version of you and that complements you like Emma as a friend compliments you. He's also interested in something you love which is very green flagg-y ❤!

Lovely watching Ross/Robert be introduced to the magic that is plants!!
Oh Claire. Ross is a delight!!! Such fun to watch you together!!!💕
« Were back from the swap »…. This is ROSS.. **swapped all the plants for ross**
Yes we love having Ross !! Enjoyed your interaction and camaraderie! Greetings from NYC 🌵🪴🌵🪴🌵🥺🌵🫶🏼🫶🏼
The burrows tail is so cool, I love their jelly bean vibes! Ross was fun too, its so nice he's genuinely taking an interest in your hobbies/ passion and getting involved. Purple Passions have beautiful orange daisy-like flowers. The more sun the deeper the purple.
I love when people pixelate plants in the intro. Makes the video that much more enticing 😆
he chose the love plant.
💜💜💜
A true romantic.
😊🪴
I love how y’all like totally different plants. Plants for everyone!
My lord you two are so adorable. He is so smitten with you.
Love how you to compliment each other. Both have lovely plant choices.
I enjoyed Ross's excitement over learning about plants!
Did anyone gasp when a man appeared? 😂 it’s always Claire, maybe Emma…but never a man 🫣
Love it. ❤
I love how every time you show one of the plants you say « i know it will make someone else happy » aww
Loved seeing Ross and you together! Would love to see him more often.
A boyfriend/ partner/ boy/ man! That you are converting to a plant person! Love it ❤
Aw y’all are so cute!! Ross is a sweetheart!!!
Just wanted to say the AH079 is actually AH074 (: maybe a small typo!
I love Ross 😂❤ and his childish sense of humor! "Pubicalyx" 😬😜😂
Awesome video! Ross is a great addition! It’s nice to see plants through another novice’s eyes as well! You two seem like a good match. 😊
I personally have a soft spot for purple plants, so I think Ross has pretty good taste! My boyfriend would have come away with a Croton for sure, the more colourful the better. 😂
❤y’all are so cute 🥰 together and I would love to see you both together again in your videos, it’s been so fun seeing you both!!
You bounce off each other so well and I’m so happy Claire, also some amazing plants there. I wish I was closer cause I want to come! Do more vids together please 🙏🏾💕
I love the addition of Ross!
I love your channel and your enthusiasm. As an old guy dabbling with houseplants in my retirement I'm really enjoying learning from you. Ross looks a really nice guy and yes please, let's see more of the two of you together, you're a great team. ❤

Haworthia margaritifera is my best guess
Yes, more Ross, please! He has a beautiful voice!
My gosh. Ross is so dreamy! Lock that stud down!
Oh my gosh you two are so adorable together 🥰
Really enjoy your take on plants, but definitely also enjoyed the Ross addition. I think C.S. The oxalis can be an outdoor plant when it is warm enough! I’ll be putting mine outside in May ❤ (I’m also in the UK) xx
The Oxalis triangularis leaves are edible as well! They have a lovely almost citrusy flavour!
Oh lovely to meet Robert/Ross 😂 you can absolutely grow oxalis outside in your balcony Clare, I have one that lives outside all year round, it dies back in the colder months but grows again bigger and more beauty the next growing season
He’s cute, keep him 😂❤
Omg just when I thought I mastered my British understanding by watching your videos, here comes Ross and can’t understand a word he says 😭😭😂
That chaps pizza at 14 minutes in looked ace! Hopefully there’ll be a plant swap in Leeds or Manchester, looks fab 😊
You could have a purple plant corner….wouldn’t distract if they’re in one place. Xx
Lmao Ross’s response when you said pubicalyx and then he asked you to say it again. 😂😂
Hi Claire, you should be good to grow it with sections like you said - hope it goes well for you 🚀
Oh my gosh I’m so so excited you got a fuzzy petiole ✨✨✨
I loved having Ross !! U guys r adorable. I'm going to see if I can get my husband on film trying to pronounce stuff. So sweet.
RE green tradescantia: it is 'Green Hill' and likes humidity, light/free drainage but hates drying out
The first time I had my husband come with me to a local plant sale he picked out a little tradescantia tricolor, lol. I am NOT a fan of tradescantia but I now care for a massive trailing tricolor 😂

😍😍😍 Hello Ross…you two look perfect together!!!
Hi Ross! Nice to meet you.
The second tradescantia looking plant is a callisia repens or turtle vine 😊
We are doing a small plant swap/give away at work next week! Hoping it will start some new conversations and bring a cozy vibe to the office. Nice to meet you, Ross.🖐️
Loved meeting Ross he's getting into your plant craze even starting a green gang of his own 😂 awesome 👍👍👍
What an awesome day - you took along a great variety for plants! Ross is super cool 😎👍👍
I like seeing new people get into plants. Super cute video 💜💜
Hi, it was lovely seeing you both ✨ really enjoyed your interactions
Claire is in her "Taylor Swift Secret Boyfriend Era" and Im here for it lol Do a Q&A!
I’d love more of Ross! You two make a lovely couple. I knew there had to be someone in your life, Claire. Your just so sweet and gorgeous! 😊🪴
Oh my goodness, you guys are so cute! 😊❤ Loved the breakdown of plant terminology you did for him too 😅
The silver one with red underneath is the a Looking Glass begonia and they get big so I don't think it would be good for a terrarium.
The two of you play off of each other so well 😀And he seems to be open to liking plants which makes him a catch.😉
Fun video. Enjoyed meeting your Ross!
I've honestly never done a plant swap before. It's a bit scary, but I'd love to try it someday. And yes, more Ross please! You both are very fun and entertaining together!
I LOVE haworthia!!!!! They are the best "can't be killed" plant and I've been able to get so many babies off mine!!! ❤
I always thought the name Ross sounded like a dog barking, but your boyf has helped me appreciate its majesty. You make a great team 💚
Lovin' you and Ross together! He's adorable! Could his trailing plant be a Callisia Repens "Turtle Vine"?
You guys are so cute 🥰 great haul!
Edit: I adore purple passion 😍
OMG you were PLANTSPLAINING to Ross
It's so funny watching someone, who was never into plants + someone who's crazy about them 😂 Like that part where you're trying to explain why that teeny tiny peace of hoya must be fun when you could get a full "bush" of Tradescantia instead 😅 BTW, very happy for both of you 😉

Amazing haul so far! What on earth did you trade to get Ross? Lol You two make a lovely couple! 😍 I'm excited to see what else you got...
Keep Ross!! He did well 👏👏👏
I wish I lived over there!!!! Having Ross on is such a nice change!!
Maybe He can try to put the tradescantia in a terrarium. We have some small cuttings in a bottle garden. They do very well
Love Ross! His plant innocence is charming and he is adorable.
I had just begun to understand a little more of your fast talk that comes Ross talking even faster XD. You are really nice.
Yes more Ross,cute together
I. Love. Seeing you two together. You already glow but with him you seem to shine even more❤️

Funny how hard he’s trying to geek out about the plants 😂😅 🤭
I so badly wanna go to a plant swap but haven't found any in my area. Thanks for sharing!! (And Ross/Robert is fun. 😂)
Omg Claire! Ross is super handsome! It's so nice to see you so happy!!
That begonia is called Looking Glass. It is a cane begonia. Doesn't need a terrarium.

This was a fun video! Thank for sharing everything planty and Ross! 😊
You guys are so cute together!
I wish they have a plant swap where we are. I love that Hoya Swarak cutting you have. Do you do plant swap from different countries in postings? England - Ireland? We are kinda neighbours.
Love seeing your hauls from the plant swops.
