I am happy to see someone who can do this cover justice. It takes Funk masters to understand the sounds of funk. Michael Cooper and Con Funk Shun should be smiling with this outstanding cover of Love's Train. This is my genre of music and Anderson's ad libs and Bruno's insane vocals gives this the justice that Love's Train needs.
Silk Sonic/Hooligans bassist, Jamareo Artis, was on Making the Band and that's where Bruno Mars first discovered his talent. Bruno saw him in the studio one day, recruited him to the Hooligans and the rest is history!

Wouldn’t you miss so much - all the little nuances, changes, updates etc between the old song & the new song? If you’ve never heard the song, isn’t it like you’re reacting to a brand new song?

Silk Sonic takin their skills, expressin the love they have for the music & where it came from. The world is the beneficiary. Kudos for the remarks on APaak’s touch on them drums.
