Yeah I can't stand how a lot of these schmups pull that second loop crap, just further emphasizes how all these arcade games really were just shallow experiences meant to take all your money through, well, microtransactions. Santa clause was never real.
True, though this specific shooter is very poor even for 1994 standards since this kind of graphics and sound were standard in the arcades from the mid 80s and there were many other earlier shmups that showcased far superior 2D graphics music than this, even on weaker platforms like Axelay on the SNES (1992) that could even put many NEO GEO shooters to shame, so they needed an artificial way to increase the games length with double loops.
Reminds me of the Aero Fighters games, with the crazy characters and bomb attacks, and the dialogue between missions. Much less polished though.
