I owned both deathadder essential and g203 and razer basilisk ultimate. G203 lightsync is by far my favorite both in looks, but also in games. Deathadder essential seems cheap to me personally and i do not view it as decent mouse anymore and basilisk though having an amazing sensor, it had a lot of disconnection issues..

I answer this in the review, and it depends on your hands, but I preferred the DeathAdder overall, but the two are surprisingly close.

I feel like the mushy scroll wheel of the DA Essential is the worst because I use it a ton when gaming and the lack of tactile feeling plus the looseness of the scroll makes it so difficult to navigate.

you can’t, though you can change from breathing-static type lighting and adjust the brightness as well. Hope this helps :)
