- The concluding part of “The Spanish Princess” continues the story of Queen Catherine and Henry VIII, who preside over the most glamorous court in Europe and are beloved by their people. Together they create an England that is proud, confident and strong enough to withstand threat from abroad. Catherine’s struggle to produce an heir places her marriage and position in the court at risk, and she is haunted by her choices from the past. Despite proving herself a politician, a diplomat, a national inspiration and even a military commander, Catherine must battle to save her love with the King, and to preserve the peace and prosperity of their reign.
Lucy of Narnia!!! wow, she was a child there and now she´s a mother and a queen.
How the years pass....omg.
Wait Meg is Lucy from Narnia? I actually didn’t recognize her!
Stop glad you posted this. I have been trying to place where I had seen her before. 😁
She's the Queen of Scotland, which this time without another queen and two kings to rule with her and is not as strong of queen as she was before, in Narnia. Where does she have her dagger?
Lucy of Narnia is a queen, too :) I love how far Georgie's come :)
Meg is definitely my favorite character this season! I would love to see a prequel series devoted entirely King James IV of Scotland & Queen Margaret Tudor!
Read the book three sisters three Queens, it is by the same author of the constant princess (Philippa Gregory) on which this series is based. That book is told entirely through the eyes of Margaret Tudor.
Meg legit was the only reason I kept watching
The actress that played Meg did a amazing job with this role in The Spanish Princess
There are so many amazing stories of Scottish royalty (and many other countries as well) that I think could do well with their own mini series! But we only hear about the English.
Lucy!!! What a great Queen you've become!!
Meg won against her brother in the end when you think about it her granddaughter became the wife Francis the second and Queen of france (for a little while)(it could have been Elizabeth if she was legitimate) and her grandson the ruler of Scotland and England
*great grandson
Meg was the real star of the show. Just awesome.
What a badass Queen
Anyone else just find out she was in the chronicles of Narnia?
Hahaha, every minute we get of the Tudor sisters is a great blessing after being sidelined for the sake of telling very highly romanticized versions of their brother's awful choices for centruies and the absolute abomination that series "The Tudors" was... Their daughters had always been the stronger feature of the Tudor bloodline
Well said 👏🏻 !!
The current British royal family, at least Elizabeth II and her descendants, have both Margaret and Mary Rose Tudor as ancestors.
James was better than her other husbands. He was kind to her and she seemed to love him and he loved her in their own way but she had many struggles.
James was a man of his time and to him women aren’t for politics. Margaret is a Englishwoman in a Scottish court, not a good mix. Still James should have done better to show the others that despite her being English she deserves respect as their queen and mother of the future king, and to insult her is to insult him as well
She is a real queen ruling over men who doubt her.
for god sake she is the queen of Scotland and yet she's treated like a maid. How dare you show such disrespect to your queen. even her own husband doesn't respect or support her
I mean they also name a good point about being Scottish and her being English socity clashes I don’t doubt that the Vikings had queens but treated them shitty we all know in Ancient Rome and Africa and the Middle East and probably Asia they had several queens but one was there high queen the others where no more then slaves but still held the title queen as they where the Kings or whatever property James do doubt loves meg she knows this but at the end of the day he’s Scottish they defiantly dont run the kingdom as meg is used to. She’s still treated pretty dam good tho .
@@kkandsims4612 the vikings actually valued their women.
A woman had any right to divorce her husband, but a man couldn't divorce his wife. And she got to keep the kids in the divorce (and I don't think those kids were de-legitimised by that divorce, unlike for the rest of Europe)
Women were far better educated than men because maths was "witchcraft", they handled all the accounting and running of the household (and not in the women stay home and cook way. She was In Charge)
Women vikings participated in raids and war.
Women vikings could own land and hold titles in their own rights. A woman viking was not treated shittily for being a woman.
VIKINGS isn't entirely accurate but it's far better than most other things (except Norsemen. Norsemen is rather good)
Medieval Europe had nothing on the vikings. The way Meg gets treated is absolutely horrible compared to how a viking woman in her position would be treated.
The slaves in this time period and area were indentured servants. They could earn their freedom and weren't born into slavery - which is why American slavery is especially brutal in comparison. A concubine is still slightly different to a slave or indentured servants.
How Meg gets treated likely has way more to do with the fact she is an English woman - an English Princess, whose family has been at war with Scotland for so many years? - than just the fact she's a woman in this time period.
Meg doesn't run anything until her husband dies, so no she's not *used* to running anything.
Ancient Rome is not comparable to vikings or this Renaissance time period. Ancient Rome is ancient Greece with a turned down misogyny. Not quite leaving baby girls out to die, but certainly no rights for women.
At least here they had a few rights. Like not being left to die at birth.
Im happy that I'm named after her
he is from the last kingdom!
King James? Or Stewart? Stuart looks familiar
Queen in any universe
Is she Mary Stuart's grandmother, eh?
yes, she is
True
of course !
Was Megs son James the father of Mary Queen of Scots?
Yes James V was indeed father of Mary queen of Scots
Finan is now a Scott lmao

Where can i watch the full episode!!
STARZ
FINAN
Who is Alexander Stewart?
A noble of the Stuart house during the 1500s
I can't get into this. It is so off base. If i could just think of this as a fictional series maybe i could watch it. But i know the truth and it makes this whole show ridiculous. 😵
As were the Tudors, the White Queen and the White Princess and every other one you can name... English suck at making historical shows properly
What was the truth if I may ask?
@@SG-pu3rx it wasnt made to be accurate at all.
