  • This is the first video from my 2016 summer railway trip to the Wrocław - Poznań rail line in Greater Poland (line number 271). This is the last railroad in Poland equipped with greater quantity of old railroad crossing signals types HZ-10, EHZ-12/13, EHZ-31 and EHZ-32. These types of signals don't meet modern standards of national railways and because of that, they have almost completely vanished from polish railway network in the last few years.

Two trains pass railroad crossings on Farbiarska and Sowiniecka streets in Mosina, Poland. The first train is the regional service from Poznań to Leszno operated by EN57-2050 + EN57-2032 EMU's. Second train is the PKP Intercity long distance passenger service "Gwarek" from Kraków to Ustka, this time operated by EP07-1029 locomotive with a quite long consist of passenger coaches.
First railroad crossing in the video (on Farbiarska street) was equipped with four JEGD-50 gates, KLD-4013 mechanical bell and two interesting 200 mm / 8 inch signals with mixed parts of EHZ-31, EHZ-32 and EHZ-2/12/13 crossing lights types (they looked almost like the normal EHZ-31 lights, but some parts were taken from the different types).
Second railroad crossing, on Sowiniecka St., was equipped with four JEGD-50 gates and two 200 mm / 8 inch signals type EHZ-32.
Both railroad crossings were modernized in the second half of 2017 and now they are equipped with new Bombardier signal setups with EEG-3 gates and EHZ-75 signals with built-in EDE-1 e-bells.
