    Yes, Pierre wants to cut the insane level of taxes that have been thrown on the backs of hard working Canadians so that they don’t have to rely so much on costly, inefficient government programs.
    We’ve reached a point where 3-6 months of our year is spent just to pay for our taxes. Explain how this has become thought of as our “fair share”?
    Canadians are sick of the abuse and waste of our tax dollars.

      @amarlad9 Месяц назад

      Can you show me a source that PP wants to cut any level of income or sales tax, because I haven’t seen that in his platforms.
      As for the carbon tax, I did my calls and get more money back from the Carbon rebate so cutting that tax would have little effect other than media hype.

      @@alcovitch calcs*. Meant to say calculations but autocorrected. How am I slow if I added up how much I spend on gas and the % of that which is carbon tax, plus energy bills, and compared to the cheques I get back? Easy math. There are online tools to help factor in additional things too

      and before you say groceries.. I’m as pissed as you how expensive it’s got, but it’s clear from the Loblaws Sobeys and Metro corporate earnings reports that it’s all greed and price jacking masked as inflation. Unfortunately neither Trudeau or PP have any serious plan to face off against corporate greed and get food prices down or bring in more competition to the market. Both parties are too far to the right on that issue to actually help Canadians like us.

      When the federal government forces millions of people into a province the Premier can't refuse. And they are also supposed to provide the money needed to expand infrastructure to accommodate the people, too. Trudeaus forced over 2 million people into this province. Health care is a provincial problem, but not necessarily provincially created. In this case it certainly isn't a cuts issue. It's a too many people issue.

      @@PaulYoung-m7o fair enough, I’m not the biggest fan of him as party leader right now either… but just pointing out a simple fact that the Canada Health Act exists and can be used to regulate the distribution of public health care in provinces, who then take care of the details. I don’t know about where you live but my family is having a really tough time with health care right now and the increased privatization is making it worse.
