MashaAllah this is beautiful! Those commenting with negative criticism because of the melody the brother is using please remove your ignorant comments. The adhan that you’re used to is called in various Arabic, Persian, and Kurdish maqams(melodies). This brother is of African and/or mixed heritage and he is pronouncing the words correctly, which is the most important thing, and his African melody is absolutely fine and beautiful. The adhan is a call to prayer to all mankind! Only 15% of the 2 Billion Muslims worldwide are Arab, so naturally the call to prayer will be done in various melodies while simultaneously preserving the language of revelation, Arabic. By the way, when Bilal (Allah be pleased with him) the African companion (disciple) of the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) chose him to call the adhan, he did so for his beautiful voice. Anyway this is clear prophetic proof that those with beautiful voices should be given the opportunity to call the adhan. This brother did it beautifully, powerfully, and with so much heart. Allah bless him and increase him and us all, Ameen!

Athan and recitation is generally melodious and pronunciation wise accurate. This gentleman meets both requirements. The only difference is, His melody conforms to where he is coming from. But still, Azan has its own rules to follow by different people with their different cultural styles. There is still room for any culture to move around within the accepted Azan rules, but you can't create or do things outside of the boundaries. If you are a new Muslim and don't know these rules, spend a day or two learning them. They are very easy, but don't go out there and create a Bidaat (innovation in Islam) Azan, which is Haram. How Beautiful ❤ This is testament that Islam is for everyone, everywhere, Alhamdulillah. We carry with us our uniqueness, yet we are bound in brotherhood and faith.
This person is a recent revert to Islam. He need more education. He should learn first and then give Azan. Islam is not like other religions to bring changes or create new things. He should follow the Sunnah: It was narrated that Talq bin Habib said: "Ten things are from the Sunnah: Using the Siwak, trimming the mustache, rinsing the mouth, rinsing the nose, letting the beard grow, trimming the nails, plucking the armpit hairs, circumcision, shaving the pubes and washing one's backside."
mmm... whenever anybody does anything in Islam it's an "innovation"... the moon symbol on every house of Islam is a turkish innovation and *the hadith* has plenty of persian innovations you sunnis will complain about to justify going against even central texts. the prophet mohamed was around more monotheistic christian secs and thus took influence from them, AND THAT'S why you obviously can't see catholic trinitarianism in Islam.
When reciting al-Qur'an, one should keep his/her volume low enough not to bother others and high enough for the angels to hear. The excessive movement during prayer is adviced against in Islam, but I think our brother here isn't praying but only reciting. The amount of negative comments are very unfortunate though. If people really want to advice him, they should try to trace him down and say it to his face to help him out insha'Allah. You have to be careful with how you say this because this sounds like a comment that can start fitnah between Muslims. Instead of making it sound this way. First seek the brother and show him how it is done. He actually came to my masjid and asked me to teach him my way. I actually do my adhan similar to that of the ones in mecca and madinah.

Brother, don't call things innovations purely off of what you feel, I'm an ignorant person so I'm not sure if this is acceptable or not, but we shouldn't speak on it without knowledge
@@Klick17 I was pretty clear brother. I used the phrase ‘not sure’ and ‘feels like’. I am making it clear I don’t have knowledge but something still doesn’t sit right with me with this call to Salah.
May Allah accept all that we have done over the past 4 weeks.
every single Qari and Muathin recites Quran and Adhaan differently. that is innovation by your definition. from Abdel Baset to Mustafa Ismaeel. people across the Arab world, Asia, and Africa all have different adhaans and different maqaams/scales. that is also innovation by your definition. thus, we must not even stray a single note away from the way Bilal RA gave adhaan, and somehow replicate the qira2ah exactly of the sahabah and angel Jibreel? nonsense.
Mashaallah beautiful voice😮
Azan isn't a song from Moana! Also pictures in mosque were disliked by Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
Stop being negative

No its not. Its a flippin disgrace. That is not adhan.
changing the vowels completely, you can't even call this Arabic anymore
To all my brothers and sisters, do you think he is doing the right thing? He is not. Just listen to his voice he is singing like a song, it's not appropriate to call the Adhan as a song! Don't be fooled by society. Allah is all knowing and watching!
It's the American idol version 🤣

May Allah almighty bless this brother of ours with this magnificent voice
I truly enjoyed it. He is saying adhan with all his heart. He truly means it.
Remember brothers and sisters being a troll is haram!! Beautiful athan
May accept this Brother , all devotion , and jakat . . Allah grant Shukur for him . Ameen
He call to prayer to this heart.
Beautiful.
Assalam Aleykom brother all around the World.
This isn’t how the adhan is done .. may Allah correct this upon him and those who assisted him and any one who mistakes this a part of our recitation Ameen
Please find evidence supported with Quran and/or hadith to prove what is wrong with this brother's adhan? Until then Kindly refrain from criticising this brother's different style of Adhan. It is unislamic and sign of bigotry which Prophet did NOT teach. Please see evidences below:
☝️"Accept from people what comes naturally for them; command what is good by custom; and turn away from the ignorant without responding in kind” (Qur’an 7:199).
✌The Prophet Muhammed's (PBUH) did not destroy the indigenous cultures and subcultures of pre-Islamic Arabia, rather he lived in harmony with them, correcting what was unsound and repealing what was degenerate. Perhaps, the best example of the Prophet’s accommodation of Arabian subcultural norms was his practice of propagating the Qur’an in the seven principal dialectical variations (aḥruf) of Arabic."
👌"Once, a group of Ethiopian converts began to dance with drums and spears in the Prophet’s mosque in celebration of an annual Islamic festival. The Companion ‘Umar attempted to stop them, but the Prophet intervened and urged them to continue. In one Hadith, he said to them: “Play your games, sons of Ethiopia, so that the Jews and Christians know that there is flexibility (fusḥa) in our religion.”
@@YouKayTenwhat they find wrong is because he isn't doing it how Arabs are used to. Had it been a popular sheikh from Arabia doing it, they would all like it.
@@DanishTroll87 there is no makharij or tajweed. The arabic language is quite complex and the adhan must be done to perfection. The man in the video sometimes stretched things that were not supposed to be stretched or vice versa. May Allah accept our prayers and guide us.
@@fantasticism3219 call to prayer is not the same as the prayer. So even if he got some tajweed wrong it's not that bad. He is clearly a convert. So he will need time and help to develop the proper pronunciation.
@@DanishTroll87 although it is not as important as the actual prayer, it is still an important element nonetheless. In no way am I showing any hate.
You feel it’s from his heart of hearts, may ALLAH (swt) take pleasure in his call to prayer 🤲🏽
I personally like it. It is touching...Good to give respect to the Azan by listening and not to talk unnecessarily
Masha-allah brother. May Allah help you become a better Muslim. ❤
I think his voice is beautiful
Beautiful Mashallah. A call to prayer is to announce the call to prayer and catch the attention of the people and he is doing just that. Haters will always hate and never understand the beauty of Islam. Also the Prophet ﷺ never gave guidelines to Bilal (RA) on how to say the call to prayer but said someone with a beautiful voice should do Athan. This brother did it beautiful ما شاء الله
Astaghfirullah Adhan is Call to prayer not a Hollywood song that should be recited like this.
"Islam is the best product but we muslims are the worst presenters Unfortunately"
May Allah guide us towards the Real Islam that was the deen of Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and his Companions ( رضوان الله عليهم أجمعين )
La hawla wa la quwata illa billah, this man brought gospel church song to mosque , 3udu billah
May Allah always guide and protect our new Muslim brothers and sisters reverts in Islam and make them be among those who foster the strength of Islam even further.. Ameen
I can tell from the look on the brother’s faces in the back that they’re saying “so who’s gonna tell him?” 😂
It's not for him to invent or adjust according to whims desires or pagan rituals. We have our way and that is a way adopted and preserved via Sanad. Not good this
Beautiful azan Subbhan Allah
MashAllah "A" for effort. Brothers in the community please help him nail down the cadence Adan
Ma shaa Allah his passion is appreciable but he needs to learn the proper way of azaan. Still much appreciated. May Allah bless all the new converts with more emaan and more barakah. ❤❤❤❤❤
And what is the proper way ???
