The ultimate Yellowstone insider is proving to be the show's youngest cast member. Brecken Merrill plays Tate Dutton, grandson to Kevin Costner's John Dutton on the show. He recently opened up about filming a pivotal scene that viewers never saw. On social media the teen spills all the tea.
During the build-up to Season 4 of Yellowstone, Merrill has been posting pictures from the set that show him palling around with his fellow cast members. He is also prone to sharing stories of how the adults treat him. Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton), he says, was once so nervous about him being afraid of how she looked after being beaten up that she went out of her way to show it was all makeup.
It's not an exaggeration to say that the most dramatic thing that's ever happened to Tate hit the cutting room floor.
The scene Yellowstone fans never got to see is the kidnapping scene that came during the next-to-last episode of Season 2. It was cut because everyone felt there would be more suspense without it, but the moment exists on digital film somewhere. Furthermore, Merrill shares it was filmed as they started filming for Season 3, which led to some continuity issues as he grew four inches between seasons.
Season 4 of Yellowstone begins on Nov. 7 on the Paramount Network. The show picks up after John, Beth and Kayce Dutton (Tate's dad) all were attacked and presumably wounded. Promos for the show promise that revenge will be a heavy them during this new season.

I think the person who directed the attack on all of the Duttons is Malcolm Beck, who we assumed had died, but I bet somehow he survived and came back to wreak havoc on the entire Dutton family.

He becomes chief of the tribe as well as legal blood heir of John. He places the land in the name of the tribe with succession rights to his line within the tribe "brand".
I glanced at the movie once and decided to watch it. After all it had Kevin Costner in it. THEN well I fell in LOVE with it. I got lucky to watch Seasons 1-4 on Peacock and when Season 5 hits in November, I WILL get Paramount+ just so I can watch it. I am addicted to it. @Taylor Sheridan, THANK YOU!!! In today's American society, this show is revolutionary. It portrays a set a values with a range of meanings much deeper than meets the eye. It is the American society that it is today subversive when compared with the more authentic and truly traditional, logical, down right human and honest way of life of Yellowstone. These aspects would suggest why it is so addictive. It triggers something in our subconscious and rescues us from all the crap of the polítical correctness of which we are prisoners.

About 52 weeks oh wait have to have a vacation of 2 weeks so 50 weeks. For 20 years that won't work either because actors may die and have to be replaced with others. So at less 3 or 4 more years with 13 to 20 weekly shows.
