In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Hi Emma, respect for what you've already done in your life! You seem to have this inner confidence, that will guide u through every "low" in life und that makes you found a company, or stand in front of hundreds of people, holding a talk.
You inspired me to work on my confidence even harder, because this self-appreciation and self-love is what makes a person special!
Great talk!
Greetings from Germany! :)
Emma never lacked confidence possibly owing to her genetics - some of us are not like that!
"women who are feminine and masculine, women who are strong and vulnerable, women who aren't one thing because none of us really are." I started crying, oh man. I've felt like that my whole life.
late to the party but i fucking love this lady (and her nugget).
This is cool
I didn't expect to be this early
loved loved loved - we really must empower ourselves day by day (man or woman), and have that embrece-who-you-are discussion with our children. The whole world could change in a actually awesome place. Congrats, very inspiring.

Very good. Too bad it's such a gamble, tho. If only there were less tragedies.
So very proud to have lived in Portland and walked by this store every single day on my commute to work. So inspiring!
These days, the best TED talks are in TEDx, not the main one.
Emma, so much respect for you -- for having the courage to get up there and tell your story with honesty and humility. Getting up on stage is scary as s^1t. So glad you didn't (as you clearly never have) let fear get in the way of following your heart.
