I tried to dance old 60’s and 70’s soul dances such as funky broadway, boogaloo, tighten up, horse, cloudy stock, popcorn, sexmachine, soul cha cha, etc. with this New Dance, and I did it all successfully! Further more she did it with JURIN and she even did it during their little dance Cypher in the sunset during the chorus. To be real it seemed like each girl learned a new dance being they were doing different dance styles during their part of the chorus.
The New Dance is like the Monster Mash: there is never a direct description of how you are supposed to do the dance, it’s just a vibe on how the dance makes you feel.
Y’all gotta check out “Show you can” by Maya & Cocona , it’s a single from the Woman Street Fighter album that they were apart of - they even wrote parts of the song themselves! Definitely will love it. Pls give it a reaction

It was filmed in Okinawa,Japan. They brought all filming staff from Korea other than drone videographer and lighting staff. Compared to TGIF or GRLGVNG, it should be less budgeted, but they still built that space ship interior and used CGI for a graffiti.

The song isn’t really about teaching us the new dance as much as they’re hype about having learned a new dance and getting a chance to show off at the party.
