But I think this comes from KC fans failing to realize that Caedrel is not his community, cause KC fans genuinely believe they're the one who are getting constantly poked. KC fans don't watch every Caedrel's stream, they rely on clips and his reddit to deduce Caedrel's opinion on them, and with how virulent the reddit is towards KC, they believe Caedrel genuinely hate them aswell.

I was so damn disappointed when they got the LEC spot but hoped it would be different. Of course, it wasn’t, and now it’s a legitimate issue that needs to be addressed by the org.
They start to bring the traditional eu sport fan mindset into the esport scene, where ofc there will be no-brainer fans just barking and attacking someone outside of their home team. The comparison is that traditional sport like football has such big fan base, while esport has a rather smaller community, so team like KC that has huge fan base, with so much toxicity within them, it’s too hard to not see what they’re posting on the league pro scene

What made the booing incident for people overseas bad is that T1 cut their vacation to join the showmatch. That also includes *Bangs Wedding*. Bang is a brother to Faker, the whole 2014 - 2016 team is very close to each other. Imagine flying for a showmatch to Europe to get booed by people who are apparenty not "real KC fans" but then you see this shit.
There are a lot of toxic fanbases in esports, even T1's Fanbase is disgusting to the max to their own players BUT KC Ultras takes the crown because they had no base to boo T1 for no fucking reason than "just because it's Faker".
In Italy we have a similar problem but with all the football teams fanbase... especially the ones called Ultras. I always dread the moment where the fanbase of a sport I follow starts becoming like that...and that team fanbase is starting to be absolutely unhinged like them

Went through the comments a bit and it's wild people compare T1 and KC. Difference being in that T1 has taken an active stand against fan toxicity while I have not heard about anything being done about the KC ultra fans. There is literally no reason ever to send death threats and saying unhinged terrible things to or about others. I don't believe there's any fanbase without people who lack common sense but it's the sheer lack of restraint in an otherwise pretty positive community (the lol esports one) that is upsetting everyone. I agree the KC stuff has reached a tipping point. Every month there's been something new and its typically overtaken my NA news feed. I've never seen a fanbase be this problematic, even in the NFL (IYKYK). I've rooted against my own team when a team/player was on the verge of breaking a record, rooting for them to do the cool shit. I rooted for an opposing QB when he came back after a scary injury and threw his first pass back against my team. I know it's not the entire fanbase, but this has gone too long imo. Cheer for your team but respect the game and pros (that are better than us hence why they're pros). It's not difficult and feels rewarding.

I am French and I can't identify myself as being a fan of Kcorp, only because of the fanbase. The community of Kameto is really toxic, not all of them are like that, but there are still a big part of them (online, I really don't think they will act the same way in real life). I don't hate the organisation, I don't hate Kameto and I don't hate the players, so I feel happy when they win, but I don't think I will ever celebrate any wins with the fans... They keep creating dramas from nothing, like they were 15 years old, but the vast majority of fans have come of age !
And now, in the context of an e-sport conversation, if I say that I am French, I am taken for a Kcorp fan, who has a toxic reputation, whereas that is not my case. It's really frustrating.

Always has smth funny to say, his reactions are funny and never get toxic and always stay level headed in most of the times. I dont understand how hes getting so much hate for nth.
