A pleasure to watch that Paul. I didn't know what to expect but what we got a real treat. Love old cart bridges like this. Yeah, if only we could hear the conversations. They certainly wouldn't have seen a super high way like that in the future. What a contrast but it was a pre-cursor. And how good was that - the dog. Lovely. Thanks for sharing. Mark
Hi Mark, glad you enjoyed watching it, always enjoy as you said, seeing and visiting these old bridges, paths or old roads of years gone by. The dog was a bonus for me, made my day that. All the best Mark, take care 🙂.. Paul
This is gym of a video! Great video, should be on PBS or BBC, nice work! Good info! Great tour, sure would love such a video in London or travels you make this summer. It would be great to see you on a EuroTrain or similar travels, great editing and music, great talent! Tip of the hat to true artist, thank you Paul.
thanks for recording crossing the a 55 it brings back lovely memories of visits to Portmeirion and bacon sandwiches at a rest stop along there somewhere
Hello Paul, thank you very much for the new video from you. I notice how much you love your Wales. I find your home very impressive. Many greetings to your wife Lowri. The best friendly greetings from the Börde Paul. 👍👋💞☕🎸
I fair enjoyed that wee video interesting facts about Wales with the history going back many years ago.and ended on a really nice note with the dog wanting its Tummy Rubbed playing around 😊 cheers Paul 🙌🙂
Hi Paul, I have heard of Pont Dafydd, and it's in line with the foot bridge over the A55. Where the Afon Clwyd use to flow, and I know the river was diverted around Rhuddlan when the castle was built. It was last year I watch a video on you tube about this bridge by historian I can't remember her full name Erin Lloyd..... I'm not sure if she was from Bangor University or Glyndwr university in Wrexham, knowing me probably another university. only a shot clip about 5 or so mins it is a good video. I hope you had a good walk a nice day for it and you found a new friend. Made me laugh when you said A55 you get to Wrexham. The A55 is a good road but not in holiday season that's when I don't use it I rather got through St Asaph Denbigh and Ruthin straight down the A525 or for Mold A541. I wonder how hot it was in St Asaph it was 26c in Wrexham today. Great video I do love our North Wales history no mater where,Denbigh, Caernarfon ,Flint ,Conwy ,St Asaph , Bangor, Dolgellau or Wrexham Have a good rest of the week, catch you on Saturday Take care
Those walking paths are so beautiful! Just a few steps from a main motorway is a stunning countryside. What’s so sad is if Pont Dafydd was here in the States it would probably be vandalized and covered with graffiti. 😢
its good having history on your doorstep, 👍
Your blessed to have respectable country & some of the best water for
drinking. Great job
Thank you for such a wonderful video walk! And all of the history!

Ah yes Dr Erin Lloyd Jones I think you mean, she is an Archaeologist. That A55 does get busy in the summer especially, thanks for watching Shaun 🙂

That would be a great shame, many thanks Merrill 🙂
Nice blog Paul xx
Thanks Nic, hope you are having a good week 🙂xx
Interesting. I never knew the Clwyd was diverted for the A55.
Yes, it was in the path of the new supports I think, so they diverted it.
