Oh nice! you managed to check out her rendition of Love Me Love Me Love Me. To my understanding, she translated the Japanese lyrics in order to fit the song as closely as possible.
Recently she did an unarchive karaoke of some 2000 songs. They're not gonna show up on her channel but thankfully someone managed to watched the whole stream and clipped what she sang. She did song such as My Immortal - Evanescence, Boulevard of Broken Dreams - Green Day and A Thousand Miles - Vanessa Carlton (the Terry Crews vid for this song always come to mind) to name a few.

I was gonna say it seemed like a Japanese song.

I think most Hololive Ladies do covers of Vocaloid artists so some copyright issues won't happen with those as well as their own Original songs. So like this one with Nerissa, she translated the original Japanese from Kikuo's Vocaloid Original. Also I know the music might not be your cup of tea but mainly we want to hear your opinion of their voices, like this cover blew me away on how powerful Nerissa's voice was, proving her title as the Demon of Soup..I mean Demon of Sound!!!!!!!! From Holo JP: Hoshimachi Suisei's Stellar Stellar would a good starting point. Holo ID: Hoshinova Moona with her Original High Tide, and then another En member would be IRyS' Gravity, it's one of her favorite songs she's made as well as mine lol, enjoy the rabbithole!!!!!!

Yeah, I'll definitely check out some more stuff. Somebody gave some good recommendations for metal stuff as well.

You mentioned liking metal, and there's some good songs in that style from Hololive. A few off the top of my head that I like are My Roar & Anemone by Towa, Here Comes Hope by IRyS, and Chimera by Polka, which is a cover but is still good. There's also some great stuff recently by Hakka, a member of Holostars EN, and he's got a great screaming/growling voice.

Nerissa is what is known as a translyricist, which means she not only covers the vocals, but also transcribes the song across languages. It's a bit more than just a literal 1-to-1 translation, as she needs to make sure the new English lyrics still match the flow of the original Japanese cadence, and that the general vibe and emotions of the song remains consistent (e.g. any Japanese metaphors used in the original might not get the point across when translated literally, so she has to find a similar English metaphor that gets the same point across).
One example is early in the song, the original Japanese was:
    "tsuyoku shimeru//haku made shimeru"
    literally translates to:
"squeeze [the collar] tight//until [I] squeeze out vomit"
which Nerissa chose to alter slightly to
"[the collar] coiled so tightly//daily and nightly"
which captures the cadence and rhyme scheme while still conveying the relentlessness at which the collar suffocates the singer
Another good Hololive example of translyricism is Cali's English cover of Roki.

She pops up on my Pandora at the gym every once in a while. It's good, but not really my type of music. I'll still listen to it though.

@@CinesterCharlieHer new EP Jigoku 6 goes more into the rock/rock-rap side, which you'd probably prefer more

for copyright, just to be clear, you ll never get a strike. you might get copyright claimed though.
so monetizing music reaction is a little more complicated, yes.

Yeah, this one is shared rev, which I'm fine with. Sometimes I get blocked which is a waste of time to do music videos sometimes.

@@CinesterCharlie Generally I think Cover Corp (they own Hololive) is loose with reactions, since 8bitdrummer plays a lot of the company's original & cover songs on twitch and uploads several of them to his youtube channel.

I'll put up some metal and punkish ones on top. I'm not sure about the copyright of covers, by the way, but the originals should be always fine.
