I think its good to buy used around $3000 range....i brought corolla last year for $3200 with 198k kilometers on speedo meter......Now its at 250k still solid no problems....i made at least over $10,000 with that car

Depends on so many factors veer.
*For example how many k.m its been driven.
*Numbers of owners.
*Car history can check online. (Accidents) major repairs.
*Service history.
*Avoid buying a cheap cat for private seller and only buy from dealers with few 100 kms or atleast 2 months engine warranty this service is paid which cost 100$ to 200 $ us dollars max just for safe side.

This car is worth no more than 300-500$ scrap give only 150$. 300,000 km on a Nissan is a bad idea secondly paying taxes on this its not a good idea. For 4000-6000$ you can find a corolla 2008-2009.
