Chad, really enjoyed your road trip in Isaan. I live in Thailand 2-3 months out of year. My second home is in Nong Khai (primary home in Northern California) and you enjoyed the best part, the mighty Mae Nam Kong (Mekong River). Isaan is great, and seeing it on the back roads is the way to go, for sure. Congrats on a great video series. Love your energy and lust for travel.

I agree with you did the Temples the first time I was their. Never went to another temple, when I have friends come over I give them the tour for one day then I’m done with it. Two weeks that was a good trip for the price.

Next time you come to Isaan, try the capitol, Korat (you will be surprised), Pi Mai for its amazing Khmer ruins, Dan Qwean for the traditional pottery industry and Pak Tong Chi for the silk. Another tour in itself. Keep these blogs coming.

I can't believe it's over sooo quickly! I did the Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai triangle on a new Honda 125 18 years ago with my Thai GF (now my wife), such fun! Pop in anytime here in Ayutthaya, no shortage of cold ones in the fridge.
I love your videos and I just want to say that whenever you feel like side lining an over all trip to stay at a smaller village an extra day, week or however long, I don't think any of your followers would mind at all.
