I've not looked forward to a daily RUclips vlog as much as this since Harald Baldr was in the Philippines last year. I told Harald at the time that there was something groundbreaking and different about his series of vlogs. I feel exactly the same about this Isaan series. The level of engagement and entertainment is second to none.
@mike rusch I like Harald's style. I'm not really keen on Bald and Bankrupt, but we all like different things. Chad's personality comes over so well in these videos. I also like a Thai vlogger channel called Ridez 4 Kickz. Totally different to Chad's channel but both very good in their own way.
Thanks for another great video Chad! You never know what Chad is going to offer up each episode which is why watching you is something I look forward to daily. I'm a Thai who left Thailand at 14 yrs old 40 years ago. I go back once or twice a year and still have friends and relatives there. In the very near future, I plan to spend 6 months out of the year there and can't wait. So your vids are giving me enjoyment and excitement from a rather mundane life here in Venice, CA. Thank you. And oh, Loei means "pass" in Thai so if you passed it that means you "loeied" it :-)
That was a great vlog, thank you. I have a Thai wife, and getting her to take a tour anywhere is just about impossible, so its nice to just watch you doing them. But her cooking is fabulous, and two of her sisters are chefs. Talk about being spoilt.
Yes the cave is pretty unique...we went to one outside of Kanchanaburi on the River Kwai just behind the Float House Resort it was amazing...but there are a few in the US also Luray Caverns in Luray Virginia is incredible at one point your 120 feet beneath the earth with an underground river and falls ...enjoy the journey
Chad, I am surprised an adventurer like you did not go all that way without going to the other end of the cave and up the steps there. It takes you to another epic view out the other side of the mountain. It is like a hole in the middle of the mountain wall with a straight drop off below you!! Anyways, thanks for stimulating some fond memories. Much appreciated.
Everyone says everything in the commentary I have to add two cents of course. The videography is insanely good, the commentary is legendary, the subtle yet colorful use of modifying adverbs is point on and the way you have been in Thailand 5 years and still convey the wonder and excitement of the food, the flora and the land is just point break dead on. Pretty amazing bro... The Sum Dum and Kai young was looking so good and I live for that spicy sweet sauce you pour on chicken. Thanks for the videos and the ride along, Chad. May you live long and insanely each of those many days!
Stuck here in the USA. Really hope Thailand lets US Passport holders back in fall, as we spend the winter there up in Chiang Mai. That 100 baht meal is one of my favorites ! Keep the videos coming.
I have been watching your tour of isaan every day AWESOME CB always interesting you all ready found some great wheels keep them coming very enjoyable .
Great videos Chad! Consider learning a Thai word a day. Thai people will respect and enjoy your company even more! Plus your subscribers can learn from you as well on basic words and phrases.
Thanks!!! Great one today!!! I have been in Tailland twice, last time was 9 years ago, I am missing it a lot, my favorite country so far. Your face eating the chicked said all. See you tomorrow!
Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. Was there many years ago and recall they had headphones available that gave you information about what you were seeing as you walked through the caves.
Thank you I was looking through the comments to see if anybody was going to drop any info on the Carlsbad caverns they are pretty cool have been there myself was working in New Mexico at the time thank you
That was very cool I cannot believe how huge it was inside!!! Your friend in the cave looked like a Monk very interesting people.. the food look excellent.. be careful stay safe and keep them coming , from the good ol us
Houston does in my experience have the best range and quality of eateries in the USA. You can pick a country and go there for lunch - well I hope you know what I mean.
I recommend 'Thanon Loi Pha' (the sky road) it is the road number '2016' in Plu Luang district of Loei, you will be got a feeling like you ride on the sky.
About 43 years ago, I rented a house near that traffic circle in the video (or was it episode 8?). I lived and worked in Loei town for two years + and have a house and relatives there to this day. As you were heading out of the traffic circle, that's Phu Bo Bit mountain a couple kilometers ahead of you. Great views from the top. Too bad you didn't climb it. I had a Suzuki TS125 dual-sport bike at the time. It was great for riding dirt roads, mud and wading through creeks. Oh, by the way, it's Loei as in Luh-e, not Low-e. It has a couple usages/meanings. Such as pass by or keep going or get out of here. Apparently people who went to Loei in the distant past never came back. Back in the day it was way out there.
Enjoying your Issan tour. There are caves in the U.S. Kartchner Caverns in Sierra Vista,Az is still a living cave. A must do. When I visit my family in Thailand I will definitely take your recommendation of places to see. Thanks again.
Love your vlog. Especially when you are totally flabbergasted about the food your having. After years of travel to Thailand I still have this feeling of holiness sometimes when I eat in Thailand. That goes for food in Laos and Cambodia as well.
Carlsbad Caverns were epic and worth a visit on your US Scooter Tour - we just went prior to lockdown on our cross country drive. Enjoying your videos! Keep it going.
Dozens of cave systems in the US. One by me is laurel caverns which I visited as a kid. They make you sign a waiver, it's fine. Your epic impression is warranted. Also the fly bys happen.
I spent a fair bit of time in LomSak northern Phetchabun on two occasions last year visiting a friend of mine who lives there. And on both of those occasions i was asked if i would like to go to Loei but we never made it there in the end. Next time we will "definitely" be going that"s for sure. Beautiful culture. Beautiful people. Glorious Thailand at it's very best. I've been watching your vids with interest and have enjoyed every one. Esp the one to the Golden Triangle trip which like i said before i did "with" a drivers licence 🤣🤣🤣 Keep em coming. Thanks. 👍
That looked like a really cool cave. We do have a lot of them in the US. Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico is probably the most well known. you should check it out the next time you get a chance to travel in the US.
Excellent perspective of seeing isaan for the first time chad. I remember myself doing a lot of the things your doing when I first went there. Chiangkahn next you’ll love it.
You got several caves adventures in the US, Look up Carlsbad Caverns and Mammoth caves to name a couple both open to the public. Carlsbad you can take an elevator to the bottom and walk out if you want. Have fun, great videos as always.
Been in three caves in Southern Indiana but they are very small compared to this. Mammoth cave is in Kentucky but have never been in that one. They have zip lining in that one.
You are correct about the spice if you tell them not hot. It does not taste good, they only know how to make it one way. It took me two years, and I now can eat all the spicy food.
We have visited Loie 2 times. Wife has friends there. Never heard of this Erawan cave. Done caves up in Chiang Rai area. But not as big as that. Reminds me of the Caves of Drach in Mallorca Spain. Will for sure look if up next time we are back. Once travel get back to normal.
Erawan is truly one of the most unique caves I've ever explored, period. It really doesn't take a lot of time to get to the entrance and then it's nice and easy throughout. Lots of interesting natural formations. Of course the penis one but there's an elephant one that really does look like an elephant. And the view from the backside "perch" is spectacular. Thanks for another great one Chad. All the best. Mitch (having been to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky, Shoshone Ice Caves Idaho, Lawa cave Kanchanaburi, Natural Bridge Caverns in Texas, and Ape Caves in Washington State to name a few.. Erawan ranks high in my book because it is EASY. I Really enjoy exploring caves)
Yeah Chad, Som Tam, Spicy papaya salade, i love it, and welkome too Loei provence. In the north of the provence on the foot of the mountains in a small Village is where my wifes Thai family lives, other side of the Mountain is Laos a side the Mehkong river. Thanks for the great tour and that cave dude!! Massive 💪🏍🙏
You should call this "The CB balls out tour" 😀😀😀 very impressive cave system, lucky it didn't rain, you should have gone looking for the soccer team. The cave near Hua Hin is epic at 11.00 am every day the sun lights up a small temole inside it's amazing and quite moving.
OMG I was thinking when you pulled up to the coffee stand how Thailand isn't much different than Seattle. Right after you show the coffee logo. I'm so entertained!
I will say it again. Thailand is beautiful. The culture, the people. Love it.
andrew johnson I miss it . People can’t understand until they go

I am over 70. And hope they let me travel there again.

But not to euros unfortunately.

Another day, another great video. Cool cave and great foodie stops.
Again...seeing so many new places. Have to get back there when able.

Super cool. You can definitely wander around on your own more in Thailand cavern then in US for sure.
Another great video Chad. Keep them rolling!
Stunning ..thank you for taking us on the tour. This world has much to offer

You say SAWASDEE KRUB so clear!!
Gotta have sticky rice with the grilled chicken ! The food looks amazing over there. Awesome trip to loei.
My wife's family live in the area so have visited many times. Erawan caves always a nice day out, and a good work out.
Great videos Chad! Consider learning a Thai word a day. Thai people will respect and enjoy your company even more!

Go for 110! but be safe. Keep up the awesome videos
The caves east of Chiang Mai ( 45 mins ) are really cool too ... a Thai hot spring park out there to was really nice
Isan is full of caves and natural tunnel systems, I've been to a bunch, enjoying the journey from Ontario , Canada , Cheers !
the tranquillity is astonishing i could feel it here.
Your videos getting more and more epic!!
Thanks!!! Great one today!!! I have been in Tailland twice, last time was 9 years ago, I am missing it a lot, my favorite country so far. Your face eating the chicked said all. See you tomorrow!

Another great video. Love this Isaan tour. Looking forward to the next episode.
That view at 10:37, the rock aligns perfectly between the two elephants.
Wonderful...just added to my list.

I'm officially binge watching your videos. Hooked
Have you ever been to Missouri?? Cave of the Winds in Colorado?? Yes......the US has a lot of caves open to the public especially in Missouri.
Carlsbad Caverns were epic and worth a visit on your US Scooter Tour - we just went prior to lockdown on our cross country drive. Enjoying your videos! Keep it going.
Halong Bay, in North Vietnam has a similar cave; Hue, as far as I remember, also.
Cool stuff......Buddhist sanctuaries back in the day.
Nice to see you 10 Minutes from my hometown at Erawan Cave
My favorite RUclips chanel. 🏆👍

That cave is awsome . I have been in the Konglor cave on Laos wich is 7km. But never seen one that big in Thailand you just showed in Loei.
Dude, that was epic! The riding, the cave and that lunch....I could smell it from Vancouver🇨🇦

Those caves are sweet!!
There's lot of cave tours in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Tours that you have to repel down even
I have been to Trinidad and Tobago. They drive alot worse. Beautiful views. The food looks really good. Safe travels.
great moto bike ride, good ice coffee with smile, cavern adventure and the best meal ! what a Journey ! Amazing 😉

Their are caves operating like that al over the US I have done caves in five states and I am not a caver but i love all of your videos
Unprepared Chad doing it again. Keep up the super vlogs my friend!!!
Like the shot of you panning up to the hole in the cave...
That chicken looked delicious. I enjoyed watching you eat it,
9:07 he ordered Isaan food without sticky rice once again haha
some people cant eat it. Hi carb hi sugar content. no good if youre diabetic

Wow, The road in Thailand is actually better than I expected
