"Liquidate man city" say the man with united chest as his pic. the pl has no power to liquidate a club :) Your comment is so ill-informed and ridicules it makes me laugh (im not a city fan fyi)
If they really have been dealing unfairly on this level then pretty much everybody should be pissed at them. Like every club (and their fans) who have been runners up in the years they won the league, and every club who missed out on a Champion's League spot, or a Europa League spot, or who got knocked out of a cup by them, etc. And not only that, but there's also the fact that if they won by cheating then this means they also unfairly inflated their fanbase, which essentially gave them more "real" income, because winning teams will always pick up a lot of plastic fans who eventually become real fans. And also everybody at City who _wasn't_ in-on-it should be pissed at the club, because their names will get dragged through the mud. If they really are cooking the books as severely as it seems then they should get the book thrown at them, titles stripped, massive fines, and dropped completely from the league, to start again at the bottom.
Everyone new they was cheating, but because it’s only city the news never jumped on them. They just did the same with the halland deal. Buyout 75m yet they got him for 54m. 100 charges tho is a disgrace

Chelsea obviously broke fair play rules. Their spending was a joke too. Not to mention: the origins of the money spent. Absolutely disgusting football entities.
Because they are a "big 6 team, minimal punishment,Premier League WON'T dare relegate them, points deduction will be not enough to make a difference, and financial punishment ,to owners who are worth billions, won't make a hole in their fortune.Look at Rangers,Juventus and Saracens ! Relegate them at the end of the season, void their title wins, and start them in the Championship on - 46,point per game. Won't happen though
City are a big 6 team because of their financial backing not because of their fanbase. Everyone apart from City's owners and the 4 members of their supporter's club would cheer if City were relegated. 👍
Lets be honest its not just City that are doing those 100+ breaches is crazy, that just proves that FA cant keep up anymore. Lets make the rules more strict and more easy to be proven and enforced (but not made on size of the club), like for example salary cap (1mil pounds a week) and transfers cap (100 mil per windows).
Then the money gets taken out if the clubs by shareholders. The high wages keep the money in the game. High level football is the only place where the 'employees' actually get paid well in comparison to the work they do for the success of the club, You'd need to find a way to limit money which could be taken out of the club by shareholders because if there is spare money they aren't going to reinvest it back into the club they are going to paid themselves a big dividend for just being a shareholder.
@@LushhN And titles won during that period stripped and awarded to 2nd place teams from those years. Otherwise the meaning and weight of winning the EPL title is tainted.
Highly doubt they’ll face any action 😂 Derby County’s breaches in the EFL were minuscule compared to these claims against Man City so would be surprised to see the outcome
Relegate them to Vanorama National and impose a 9 year transfer ban. Relegating to Championship would not be punishment enough. Cheating is cheating, and this looks egregious.
they will takethe Premier League to court and all hell will break loose if that happens Chelsea Man United might never recover because all titles will probably be stripped since 1992-93
And if City manage to prove that even just a couple of them are false, and the Premier League are lying or fabricating things, this whole case could collapse in a second ....
So basically what he's saying will happen next is that six individuals who weren't that rich are about to become very rich and City will be free to continue buying trophies with oil money.
Seriously. The FA need put that pool of individuals that may be selected into protective custody immediately otherwise that's exactly what's going to happen.
Exactly. Docking points in the season where they actually balanced the books isn't right. It should be in the seasons they actually cheated. I say go back dock 15 points on each season then whoever comes out on top won the league or made the champions league. Champions league teams that would have made it need to be compensated.
1) Take the titles in these periods from City & give the titles to the teams immediately behind them - Man United, Liverpool & Man United. 2) Give them a heavy cash fine.
Lols. You sound like a City fan. If proven guilty, they cant strip them of titles, what they can do is strip them of as minimum of 30points, strip them from the Champions league, place an embargo for transfers for at least 2years and pay a fine. That way no other team would try such
Financial penatlies won't hurt City unless it's an unpressidented amount, circa £200mil for instance. The only thing that will punish them is no UCL for 2/3 seasons, similar punishment that happened in Italy, points dectuction and relegation.
After about half a billion has exchanged hands into someone's bank account in Zurich. City should be sent down a few leagues, fined severely and their owners forced to sell up in order to send a message that people treating football clubs like playthings and abusing fans and the general public through extortion for decades will be dealt with.
Send them to the national League. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a club that couldn't even win the champions League after spending ridiculous amounts of money
And this will now hasten the formation of the super league. The PL will revert to being a fight between Liverpool and ManU, and no one will care because all the best players will be in the super league.
@@daleviker5884 the super league would not be a sport. It would be a spectacle. A performance only meant to entertain. It would not be competion, just pageantry.

that really doesnt mean anything really. the moments already happened to people and you wont reward other teams the silverware that shouldve been won. fairest punishment, for a club with city's financials, is relegation. It probably wont happen and they will just be deducted a huge amount of points. but if you want to send a message that you wont tolerate this, relegation does that
@@Jgarthebeast True enough the moment has passed but I would award the second place team the title as would be done if an Olympic gold medalist is later disqualified. It shouldn't stand that a team that is later found to have cheated to obtain something should be let keep it. Nothing can be done about the moment of celebration being lost. They’re destroyed the reputation of our league, ruined a lot of clubs seasons and cost clubs big money from qualifying for champions league places, winning domestic cups and winning league titles, they should be held responsible for everything they’ve done and made to start again from the very bottom of the pyramid.
This looks worse on the leagues than city considering the time frame they’re looking at. Violations from 2009-18! Any punishment is simply a precedent for other clubs. Such a joke, but still really curious what’ll happen
I can imagine that City will be facing several years worth of Transfer embargo, a very hefty fine and a points deduction for the beginning of season 23/24.
It's the only way to keep Pepe as manager, he only wins titles with plenty of money to buy top players, would like to see him at a club with not a lot of finance see how good he really is.

There’s no other way to put it, it’s just not fair. Either relegation or docked points for all seasons and titles withdrawn are the only justifiable punishments. What is the point in the rules otherwise
Few of the worst-case scenarios mentioned here actually happened in Serie A, although it was a matter involving corrupted referees: Juventus was relegated in 2006. This season, due to financial breaches, Juventus has been deducted 15 points, which is something could happened to Man City.
If Manchester City were to be found guilty I think a 10 year ban from representing England in U.E.F.A competition would be appropriate punishment. A point deduction for this season would be a joke. Giving out titles retrospectively don’t sit well with me. Those teams have already been denied the opportunity to enjoy the thrill and experience of celebrating in front of their fans. It’s won’t be the same feeling been given titles years later.
All true footy fans including City fans would agree that they have bought the PL championship for the last umpteen years and it was just a matter of time before they were pegged up on it. Now we will see if Pep is true to HIS word and walks away from them. Actually I would suggest if anything Pep must have known what was going on, if he did he should be brought to task with the club.
I disagree with removing trophies, the players still earned them. However, banning them from playing in European football for a number of years as well as transfer bans would be suitable in my eyes.

Are you sure you’re not being biased? Clown!!!
Well explained, this is exactly what should happen! It's a complete disgrace to football

Void titles 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Lets be honest its not just City that are doing those 100+ breaches is crazy, that just proves that FA cant keep up anymore. Lets make the rules more strict and more easy to be proven and enforced (but not made on size of the club), like for example salary cap (1mil pounds a week) and transfers cap (100 mil per windows).
then these clubs are no longer relevant continentally
Every other league has to implement a salary cap. If only one league does, then all the players leave to where the money is.
City are a tiny club before the cash they were a yoyo club biggest Cheaters going.
Let em spend whatever they want as long as it’s personal money, let the club run as it’s own entity
If QPR are fined 50 mil, Manchester City should be fined at least 1 billion.
If you think about all the teams that would need to be compensated for missing champions league football, it might be near those figures.
1 billion is pissing money for city. Relegation or atleast point deduction ontop of a fine and justice will be served

Exactly. Docking points in the season where they actually balanced the books isn't right. It should be in the seasons they actually cheated.
