I appreciate when a company admits its mistakes and invests time and money to correct them. This is something that many other manufacturers, like Eton, have struggled with in the past.
Stereo sound through the headphone jack (instead of dual-mono) for stereo FM broadcasts as well as switchable 50uS/75uS de-emphasis would also be a great firmware upgrade.
I was one of those that hated the radio when it came out, and was going to return it. I'm glad I didn't! Now, if it could support OGG streams (ie: "Chinese Music World", under China > Music)..... Known OGG streams try loading, cycle through ad nauseum, failing to play....
Loving more my LC90. Good review as always. And I agree stop the China bashing - they are cranking out some good product, this radio being one of them.
Unless you have heard something directly from Qiang on this, I would not assume this will happen. My exchanges with them over the past 6 months indicated that no further improvements in SSB should be expected until the radio goes to LC100. Here's my short video on the subject....ruclips.net/video/IODhCKxE3kw/видео.html
If all these updates materialize, this is going to be a radio of choice.
Looks very impressive to me. I’m looking forward to the updates and fixes and will order for Christmas 🎄
Loved mine with all it's flaws since day one just for the internet radio and it just keeps getting better!

One of the benefits of having upgradable firmware, although there are some companies that don't bother even if the option is available.

Completely agreed with your stamens, the lc90 is a decent shortwave radio and with a couple new firmware will fix some bugs. Love mine.
When it happnes, it happens. They should put this fix in headlines on the BBC, Sky News and CBS News here....Thank you!!!!!!!!
more: This radio, when fixed, will blow everything else out of the water. Thanks again!!!
I think the radio is great. Once the SSB and off frequency is fixed it will be amazing. I've got a Malahit and a Icom IC-705 for everything else.
Pretty impressive. I'm keeping my eye on this one. Might have to pick one up sometime.
If all that can happen then I may yet have to go buy one.

Yes I have received confirmation that this is coming to 4.7 but I have to send them a video on how it works on a good radio VS LC90
Oooh LC100?
Does the LC90 support hidden SSIDs?
not sure
That's going to depend on if you can input the SSID manually into the device or not.
