In Greece, the first years of the economic crisis were very difficult. Little children fainted at school from hunger. Very quickly we built goods exchange groups. The church helped a lot. We created websites where everyone offered what they had in exchange for what they needed. Leftover food was immediately donated. Groups of citizens gathered in poor people's houses to prevent an auction. I'm an accountant and I've been paid with cheese, onions and potatoes. We survived. How difficult or easy it will be will depend on whether the citizens go through the difficulty alone or in groups.
During the Great Recession of 2009 through 2011, I lost my job, nearly lost my home to foreclosure, barely survived on unemployment compensation, my diet consisted of corn flakes for breakfast, cheap pasta meals for lunch and dinner. I was unable to get a job as a contract design engineer anywhere in the United States for over two years. I sold everything I had of value on eBay. I was reduced to utter poverty--truly the worst time of my life. Millions of others went through the same thing. I learned from that experience and I am far better prepared for the next financial collapse, and it is coming.
Wow, you went through a lot. Prob this is the e hardest case I have known yet. Glad to hear you came thru and now you are teaching the rest. Blessings!
My parents were born in 1942. Dad grew up without electricity. They used kerosene lamps and a coal stove. Grandma grew all their food. Grandpa travelled to find work and only came home a couple times a year. One winter they ran out of food. My dad found one jar of home grown pumpkin in the root cellar and they each were allowed to have one spoon of pumpkin a day. I've been hearing that story my whole life but lately instead of it feeling like an I walked 5 miles barefoot in the snow to school story, it feels like a lesson. Im grateful for all my parents and grandparents lessons.
Many people already live like that Many already don't travel don't eat out don't have memberships or don't eat expensive food Seniors under limited income already live like that We seniors are already surviving No one cares for seniors in US We have no voice
@@dalp1535 exactly, well said , I’m more concerned about the over 55 population they are the highest level of new homeless , due to living on fixed incomes, being thrown onto the street as they can no longer pay rents , even some women 75 years and older ! Homeless shelters are having to care for these seniors & their health issues as they have nowhere lease to go,, yet billions go to Ukraine every other month, that is Americans downfall , we are broke sending money out of the country.
@@dalp1535 also I might add , not just seniors, watch Jeremiah babe and his channel, food bank use has tripled, log lines for staples at the food banks , 2 miles long,, when your own country no longer cares about its own citizens anymore then crime and disorder will rise ..
It is sad that families are not stepping up to care for their elderly. Thankful my family would never consider abandoning the greatest generation. My 90 year old grandfather lives with us and he is a huge blessing to our family.
Here in South Africa, we have lived on the brink of this very scenario for the last two decades. The ANC government have looted the treasury since coming into power, and sold everything that wasn't nailed down. This once first-world country, is falling apart ..... Unemployment is at least 40% and a vast swathe of our countrymen live beneath the poverty line...... so we are what others would call "preppers" but I just consider us to be pragmatists with a fully functioning frontal cortex.... We have Plan A (we hole up at home and fight it out) Plan B (we abandon our house and head for the hills in our off-road caravan) Plan C (we have to leave the City on foot - we have an off road trolley for that). Luckily, the worst has not befallen us, and now, thanks to my securing a job I can do anywhere there's internet, we have bought a house in a small town and are leaving the City altogether.... we will live a simple, mostly off-grid life, and be a place our family and friends can come to if it all gets too tense in the City. In the meantime, I have been learning all sorts of new skills and we have simplified our lives - we are selling everything we don't need. Despite this, we are hopeful ..... others have poured scorn on us, but there is enormous comfort knowing that you are ready..... pray for the best, but prepare for the worst..... strength to our American friends - we send you Love and God's perfect Peace ❤

During the Great Depression, all my close relatives lived in my grandfather's house because he was the only one who had a job. Fortunately, my grandmother was a great cook. She could make a delicious meal from anything. Back in the day, family took their relatives in and shared whatever they had.
My great grandparents not only had family move into their 2 bedroom house they rented out 1 of the bedrooms. That made 7 adults and 1 child in less than 800 Sq feet. They only survived because their house was paid off and they grew a garden according to my Grandma. She said not a day went by without someone coming to their door looking for food. They lived in Detroit MI. Great Grandpa sold newspapers, Grandma was a bar maid. Great Grandma had dementia.
Amen! It feels like we are on the verge of something big! My mom lived through the Great Depression and she would say that we didn’t know what hunger was! She would say that they had money but there was nothing to buy! She showed me pictures of people and ALL were very very skinny! And she lived in a farm, which was a blessing!
Wait till Gavin's order to dismantle the Bidenville encampments pushes the homeless out into the elements unprotected. Part of the depopulation agenda?
I would like to mention here … a survivor of the Balkan War, named Selco Begovic, he survived in a city with no power, no running water, or supplies… it was brutal no matter how prepared you think you are. He wrote a book The Dark Secret’s of SHTF Survival … its raw and real … everyone should read.
We all feel it. I spent three hours putting up food supplies. I've been watching, listening, and preparing spiritually, temporally, financially, mentally, and physically.

@lonniep44 Hey, I was injured as a Police Officer. Went from making 5k a month to $1400. I used every resource I could find. Government assistance, county, and private food banks. Whatever I could find. My friend, you can and need to do it. With prayer and faith, it can be done.
I feel it too. I'm actually doing a major cleanout so I can put my car in the garage to prevent someone trying to syphon gas, or worse... If my car is safe in the garage, it also helps to stay off the radar. I have a questionable neighbor that looked at me like I was from outer space when I mentioned he should think about giving up cable when he was complaining about how expensive it is. Some people really just don't get it. And things aren't even THAT bad yet.
'Tubi' is a free streaming service. I also have Netflix but I like Tubi better. So I have two streaming services for less than $20. I stream with a Roku player that also has free content to watch.
I say that all the time, that I have a bad feeling about next year. I'm so glad I found your channel. You have really helped me. I own my own business, but this year, I have been struggling. You have helped show me that I spend way too much. I'm a compulsive spender. I have way too many clothes, blankets, and bags. I spend when I'm depressed or bored. I'll even spend a lot at the Dollar Tree on stuff I don't need. I've gone from a large 3 bed townhouse with a garage to a small 2 bed apartment, yet I'm paying more for the small apartment because that is how much rent has gone up. You motivate me to stop spending. I don't need any more clothes or holiday decorations. I get wrapped up in these hauls on RUclips and want to spend. No more! I am cooking, and I have stopped getting fast food. If I don't start now, I will become broke. I have a storage that costs me a lot of money each month, and I have to get rid of it. It just stresses me out trying to go through it. I'm going to start listing stuff on Marketplace. My apartment is full of stuff I dont need. I have a lot of credit card debt that I'm trying to pay off. I have turned my lights off, and my hot water heater. I canceled my tv channel subscription. I have a 2016 Sentra that I paid off last year, and hopefully, it lasts for a while.Thank you for showing me how to get out of debt.

My mother was raised in the depression 1929 she told me how it was people who were wealthy and lost their money they took their own lives. She told me many stories how her family survived the depression back then they didn't have welfare you work or you starved. Oranges were so expensive my mother's family couldn't afford them 😞 they survived on potatoes, rice, beans I think she said it lasted for 7 years the depression... My mother grew up and she was a very strong woman!! She end up owning her own home 🏡 and I also like to add she was very independent!!
My mom said families foraged for food in the forest and fished from lakes and the ocean. They also hunted. They lived in a rural area during the depression and my mother noted that people in the big cities were worse off. I saw pics of her and she was quite skinny. For Christmas, the children got one orange and a few nuts.
@@PrepperPrincess Thats what I got for Xmas was a lil bag of nuts and a orange and a apple, Kids today expect too much and its going to be hard on them when they can't get what they want...
To me the biggest thing is that back in great depression people were much stronger mentally and physically than people are today. Their survival instincts were better and used to being frugal if necessary. Plus more people lived in country, the huge cities now will create chaos to survive
@@PrepperPrincessabsolutely.. The huge financial boom made people VERY complacent... Just like people have quickly forgotten the lock downs and shortages we globally saw..
We were born when our parents were 40-45 years old and they remembered the great depression. No one had any money, so you helped each other. Mom and dad took a pot of soup to neighbors one time. Mom had chickens and they grew lots of vegetables. Mom went back the next day to get her soup pot and the neighbors had only eaten half the soup. She asked if it wasn't good. The answer was they didn't know how long it might have to last so they were rationing it out. People need to STOP NOW spending on alcohol, snacks, treats, extras like clothes for the dogs and cats, lattes, new clothes, and junk you don't need. Get some cash at home. Prepare. We are already in a recession and this interest rate drop from the Fed is probably going to lull a lot of people into a false sense of security with a little extra cash relief. This drop will cause more inflation. Bet on it. Our government still has 5.9 billion left already approved to give to Ukraine and they plan to follow through, while opening the borders to more illegal immigrants to feed, house, treat for medical health, etc. which causes a strain on our resources. We as Americans can't support the whole world, send money to foreign countries while our national debt continues to skyrocket. A recession is the least of our worries.
Ive followed your channel for many years and def pay attention when you share a concern like this, because you never are one to put fear in people just for the views. I appreciate you. Thanks for sharing, PP! ❤❤
I will say Rabbits are one of the best things to keep for emergencies because they produce quickly. They grow up fast and they can eat nearly any plants so trees grasses anything they can eat.
My grand parents raised rabbits durring the WW2 food rations on the back porch of their house. The meat helped themselves and others when they ran through their meat card ration , the rabbits fur could be sewn into blankets and jackets for warmth. They bartered with friends and neighbors - rabbit meat in exchange for flour , sugar , etc...and like you mentioned the rabbits were great at multiplying... I hope you and those that you love are safe in the year ahead.
I'm prepared. I have no debts. Own a basic home with 3/4 acre of land . Basic vehicles. 75000 ltrs water supply. Solar panels and 2 generators that run on any type of oil. Also I'm a home mechanic. Machinist and butcher. Wife thinks I'm nuts we'll see if I'm right.
My grandmother taught me well. My parents were kids but they went through WW2 in the U.K. Rations were much more severe than in the U.S. - my husband turned 65 yesterday so we had a wonderful dinner out. I would never go to Starbucks or fast food - I don’t buy anything I don’t need - ever. We have mint mobile - 15 each a month - no car or cc payments. My cc has a 3% cash back - I use it for everything and pay in full. Cash it in once a year - like found money. Kids grown - we don’t buy ‘stuff’ for birthdays Christmas any of that for each other . Another great dinner out. It very freeing - and relaxing.
My Mother was a child during the great depression. She told me how it was. She was one of twelve children. She said everyone was poor and if you didn't have a garden, you didn't eat. No one had money. She had to work picking Cotton just to make a few cents. No neighbor had more than you. Homemade wine and medicine.
Same with my mom . Born in 1933 , the 11th of 12 kids . They had a milking cow , chickens for meat and eggs, canned what was grown in their garden . Clothes were homemade
Yes!!🙌 I’m right there with you my nerves have been pretty bad lately and I’ve been trying to find something to distract myself from all the bombardment of information. I’m in here now and I shouldn’t be I need to step away for a couple of days. I feel the storm moving in and it nerve wracking
My cousin told me that both pharmacies in her town closed. All that's left is a booth at the grocery store. Which is now her only grocery store, other than a "dollar" store. I live in a much bigger city, but I took a look at brick-and-motor businesses nearby. Car repair? I have to drive miles for that. Only one fee-free ATM near me. The emergency clinic near me is now for addiction treatment. I had no idea it had happened.
Thank you PP for the comment on having a "Feeling " that something is coming. I know you are.not the only YT creator saying this, but in real life, people seem to be living with their heads in the sand.
One thing I've always admired about you is that your survival plan is considering your neighbors needs as well ......no only wise, but, thoughtful. I hope we all do this ❤❤❤
My dad said the Great Depression was hard but they lived in a small town. They fished, raised chickens, garden and fruit trees and nuts. He hated chicken the rest of his life.
The internet is full of bad news videos. It can make people depressed and full of fear. Don't make your life miserable by concentrating on the bad. Prepare for likely short term life events and don't worry about the unlikely.
Funny how people say this is fear mongering when it is already happening. Most people I know are already shutting off things like Netflix. We already aren’t eating what we want and can’t afford to buy prepping stuff. I just shut down my shop after 40 years and am doing side jobs. Things are already bad. So, I don’t feel this is fear mongering.
So sad. I hope you can work and get paid and get out of poverty. I also hope perhaps a family member or friend will consider giving you a chance and give you some time for mentorship.
You are so very true. I told people Ten years ago. Work on your Vices all of them. Medical care not good Start an exercise program set it up. I started walking in 2021, lost 168lbs. You're right it doesn't matter who gets selected in November no politician is coming to save anyone. People are going to have to take care of themselves and their families.
I was renting a 3 bedroom house for 2300 before pandemic. Almost overnight I was given the boot as a single mom with two teens. I’m now three blocks away from that address in a two bedroom apartment for 3000. A couple bags of groceries is close to 100 if there’s any protein. We don’t go to the movies. We cancelled our cable. I make one pot meals that stretch for three days. I line dry our clothes on racks to not drive up electric bill. This is 2024 not 1954. Hello, we are already in a depression.
So happy for you. I've got 10 plants but have only harvested a few tomatoes. I'm in kindergarten as far as gardens go. But I'm learning. Got a black light flash light and the green horn worms are about to meet my chickens
I really appreciate this overview. It’s what I/we need to hear. I’ve watched you for years and I know you think through this kind of video very carefully. The truest thing you said is the Holy Ghost is whispering to those who are listening. Now is the time to get spiritually strong before great persecution comes to us.

I hv been preparing to live like the amish, oil lamps & candles, woould stove for heat & cooking, hand pump well, septic tank and i took your advice and purchased a solar generator & seeds, seeds, more seeds. Im fortunate to live in the rural south in the country. People are so unprepared and completely clueless of how to survive. I think it will be worse than the great depression because at least that generation was accustomed to cooking from scratch, sewing and being self sufficient. Im praying with you
I just started reading, "The Great Depression: A Diary", by Benjamin Roth. What he describes sounds eerily familiar, with many parallels to what is starting to happen today!
It’s already happening to a degree. We should have plenty left over after we pay bills but NO the price of food, gas, prescriptions, medical care, clothing is complete nonsense!!! I pray we don’t have a depression but I do believe we better get ready🙏 Things like large bags of beans and rice also large bags of chicken and hams on sale if u have a generator to run a freezer. Dried fruits and canned goods and shelf stable milk. May make a difference between your children having a decent meal! I can do without but don’t want those I’m suppose to provide for go without. Thank you Prepper Princess for your concern and all your advice❤️
It's going to be way worse than the Great Depression, sad to say. 😢 BAck then many grew and raised their food, not now, plus there is millions more of people.
@@JennyCarrier-hn1op in a situation that is being described like a society collapse, what’s yours becomes everyone else’s, whether you like it or not, you will have no choice , people with guns will take the food and rob your homes, you see the crime rate now , that’s nothing to what would happen, law and order also breaks down , people will take what they need , so enjoy your tomatoes while you still can if you think this is coming, no one will say please share with me, and that’s a fact..
@@jillmartin5734 I agree, but, preservation of those same tomatoes is important. Not sure, we have enough money to prop this country up with. How can we do two severe events, almost one after the other? I do know that in 2020, the independent slaughter houses were being paid by the federal government to can all kinds of meats for potential unrest then, probably for the cities. Just after that, our state paid all meat slaughtering facilities 250k each in free grants to expand.
People have been hiding their state of being for a while now but our current state has been going on too long and it's now being exposed. Our neighbor has three young boys, both work and are hurting. The local food bank I volunteer at had to buy fresh fruit because there are no donations from the stores. People are now coming to the food bank for help paying cell phone and electric bills that are about to be shut off. The reality of our country is not the same as we are hearing from "leadership". The hardest hit right now are families and the elderly. Please pray and watch out for these groups who are silently hurting. I live in a smallish community and we had 2000 back packs giving away for the kids starting school next month. They had to turn away people because they ran out. We need to be prepared (physically and spiritually) for the road ahead of us.
I can definitely see problems in the near-future with our globally-interlinked supply chain. The increase in natural disasters and international wars is concerning, particularly involving Israel & the unrest in the Middle-East. The world feels very unstable. As a Christian, my belief is that we need to be aware of what is happening around us and pray in response. You are right that we do need to prepare wisely for our future.
We have already been in a silent depression for about a year. It’s silent because people have credit cards and welfare ebt/food stamps. Pray and prep people!🙏
Just try to prepare as much as you can but don't panic. If people start panicking, everything will be 100 times worse. Stay as calm as possible and help other people.
Buy seeds. Prepare your garden. Collect rainwater and gallon jugs to flush your toilets. Buy heavy duty contractor bags to use your toilet when there's water shut off. Go to the dentist. Now. Do everything medical now. But OTC meds now. No money: buy generic meds. Google how you can survive. Alone and broke: move in with family. Get a roommate. Rent out your rooms. Grow veggies. Get rabbits and quails. My great grandparents and grandparents survived on their skills. Just understand you have less then three months to get your stuff together.
I live on one meal a day since covid when I learned the Keto diet along with fasting. I started gardening so I would know what I'm eating, started canning and fermenting vegetables. Prepare people, can goods will save your life one day.

I lost my late mother's father during the Great Depression. He died at 31 years old because in those days there was no help for a man with a bad heart and he died while working cutting fabric for a living. My mother had a rough life with no brothers and sisters and her mother was sick at a young age. I never got to meet my real blood grandpa, because he passed away at the age of 31 years old. My mom was a baby when she lost her dad.
I agree we're definitely seeing the start of a collapse. Groceries are up in cost gas is ridiculous. Hubby and I have a van it's costing $60 to $70 to fill the tank Canadian . One of our public parks has a tent incampment with 50 or more people living there. I've lost count on the number of tents now. It's growing every week. City has brought in toilets and a large garbage can, security and police presence at all times. We've also seen a 15mins city an hour from us. People need to wake up or entire world is changing in front of us and it's not for the better. The amount of people addicted to drugs is overwhelming along with mental health is declining rapidly.
I've had this feeling for several months. That's when I began to prep. I'm harvesting my summer garden and soon to plant my winter garden. I also suggest "protection ".
thanks so much for all your helpful, informative videoes, we need more people like you, who have so much common sense, which unfortunately is not so common. IMO 😢
If it weren't for credit cards, we would already be in a depression. Statistics show that the majority of Americans are living off of credit cards. That's just to afford bills and the basics.
@@PrepperPrincess I agree. I've been an emergency preparedness advocate for 12 years and the number one thing I teach people is to learn and develop skills. If the dollar collapses or we undergo a depression, money will be of little value. Basics like gardening, hunting, fishing, foraging, sewing, first-aid, firearm handling, and food preservation are essential.
Buy a couple goats if you can. Proverbs 27:26-27 The lambs will provide you with clothing, and the goats with the price of a field. You will ha e plenty of goats milk to feed your family and nourish your maidservents. Be prepared, not scared. YAH bless.
I have a dark feeling about 2025 as well. Since I was 15 ( and I am now 52 ) I had a feeling/premonition the future would be dark. We are entering into the Great Financial Storms. The United States is nearly 35 Trillion in the hole and the BRICS countries are forming their own economic coalition and shared currency. The 1974 agreement with the Saudis to conduct oil sales in only U.S dollars has ended this year. The U.S dollar is well on the way to losing it's status as the world's reserve currency, the reserve currency status which has enabled America to become so wealthy. Additionally the wars and occupations of/in other nations past and present are bankrupting America. A great storm is brewing. Listen to this Lady she's right.
Another problem: The Great Depression was in the era of the gold standard. The government couldn’t just print money like they can now. That stockpile of cash you have for a rainy day will be toast, inflated away so the government can give handouts to those who didn’t save.
This is depressing! I lived through the 2008 crisis. I know how to ration. My mom lived through the Great Depression and saved every string. What will happen to health care with no insurance? Move to another country? If the US economy goes down, so does most of the world!
I have felt like we have been in a recession since mid-2022, but I do feel like something much darker is slowly brewing in the economy. Thank you for the tips, I will prepare even more.
When government and personal debt is at an all time high you know we are in trouble as a nation. There has been a lot of volatility in the markets, real estate is dropping in value including commercial and residential so you know the banks are going to take a hit. It is getting clearer by the day that we are moving into difficult times.
My husband & I had to cut back all expenses 4 years ago! We feared this “Great Depression”coming after the virus pandemic! Been prepping for essentials. Being very frugal!
Lucky for me and my family. We were born in cuba and can live on the bare minimum. No car, no gas, no food, very little, no electricity, no running water, no internet. i can go on for a while. We have rivers and land to grow food, animals to kill and eat and air in our lungs to continue living.
I think lack of medicine and medical care is going to kill a lot of people. I know that in Russia people there are dying due to a lack of medicines since Russia imports everything and doesn't have a pharmacological industry.
100% agree with you PP. I’ve been feeling like this for a long time now it’s like a sense of impending doom. I feel like I’m prepared and ready for whatever comes my way.
I know I will survive, I have a garden with fruit trees. I also was raised off grid, so to go back that way of living is no problem. Also the longest I have fasted was 30 days, but on a regular I usually eat once or twice a day. I walk 7 miles a day now, so don’t need transportation. I know a lot of people that can live this way.
Yep. I walk everywhere I need to go. I can go some time without eating too. I already wash clothes with the old fashioned plunger and hadn't stuff out to dry. My dream is to live off-grid. I know it might not be easy at the beginning but could do it.

I have been telling people that we've been living in a "silent depression." prices are up, people are getting laid off from their jobs, stocks and house prices may be up (but those are only good for people who own stocks and housing). Even people who do have jobs, are not able to purchase or rent homes, cars, healthcare, food, pay back their tuition for those jobs, etc. I'm really not seeing many people doing well in this labor market and economy. Anyone who thinks (as a whole) we are doing great really has their head in the sand or is blinded by their own individual personal situation. Just because an individual person is doing okay, doesn't mean the rest of the population is. Right now the average person is really struggling big time and I don't see it changing for the better anytime soon. We need a period of high rates and low spending to recover from this coming disaster.

Nobody is moving into my house. I will help family if needed but they keep their own house

Im already seeing the same trends in my church that were common in the great depression, family's are starting to move back in together.

My cc has a 3% cash back - I use it for everything and pay in full. Cash it in once a year - like found money. Kids grown - we don’t buy ‘stuff’ for birthdays Christmas any of that for each other . Another great dinner out. It very freeing - and relaxing.

The lambs will provide you with clothing, and the goats with the price of a field.
The big difference between then and now is that people will do bodily harm to get what they need/want
Hey I don’t care if you’re right or wrong, we need to plan for it either way.
Another problem: The Great Depression was in the era of the gold standard. The government couldn’t just print money like they can now. That stockpile of cash you have for a rainy day will be toast, inflated away so the government can give handouts to those who didn’t save.
Buy gold and silver now to protect your purchasing power then
We do not need MORE SPECULATVE NEGATIVITY!!
Think positve, Plan positive
Thx
This is depressing! I lived through the 2008 crisis. I know how to ration. My mom lived through the Great Depression and saved every string. What will happen to health care with no insurance? Move to another country? If the US economy goes down, so does most of the world!
I feel the coming of our Lord.
What if it doesn't rain and the rivers and creeks dry up? What you gonna do?
I can't live of grid I'm too old now, I do what I can. I don't have a car, I go by bus with my wonderful OAP card. I have 6 water butt s 7 solar panels, no battery, I'm saving up for one. Small greenhouse 3ft, Small garden planted with veg and some fruit bushes. The weather is bad mostly rain, so growing stuff is a month behind at least. 😢 UK 🇬🇧
And I walk as much as I can, but arthritis is my enemy.

I only have one meal a day, and eat an apple and a cup of tea for breakfast. I try to make a very nourishing meal at about 4pm. Using the solar as most power, as the evenings draw in I eat earlier, till mid winter am eating a 12noon. I have a smart monitor, so I can use the cooker or air fryer when we get the most light.
I also use the slow cooker, this takes very little energy. Sandra. Britain 🇬🇧
We need a period of high rates and low spending to recover from this coming disaster.
is anyone else noticing the empty shelves at the Dollar Tree?
@@sheikherder when I go grocery shopping, I have taken notice of what's on the shelves. Hamburger helper shelf is going very quickly. Shelf is always low on what's available. Hamburger is always going bare quickly more so than other meats. Chicken also. Ice cream is starting to pile up on the shelf. All the comfort food isn't selling as quickly as it used to. Check it out yourself when u go shopping.
Dollar tree stores are closing. Noticed that?
I was at dollar tree yesterday and a good portion of the food was gone. The rest of the shelves were fully stocked though
@@pierrepaul591 a lot of pharmacies too
Dollar stores are shutting down one by one at a faster pace every year. All 99 cents stores will close. All of them!
I think this depression started with covid It just continues to grow
Yes! I see. Hard times coming. I feel it. And these things are not fixed overnight. It takes years to recover.😊
Utah is in a drought now, water bill almost doubled. Trash pick up is part of water bill. We are retired ,my hubby has Lewy body dementia, we both have diabetes. I walk with a cane. We don’t have extra money.
Praying for you ❤
🙏
Seniors and disabled people on SS benefits, we are no stranger to hardships. We have to make the best of it as possible!
Same boat. We are in our 70's and hubby has dementia of some kind. I think our plan would be to double up with some of our kids if things got tough like in the old days. I would rather do that anyway. I think us oldies may have some skills and knowledge to contribute. And they could bury us under some newly planted fruit trees when we go, lol!
Glad i was raised on beans & rice, so i havd no problems eating that.
I think it is important that no matter what happens in one's life, we should practice gratitude.
Exactly, you said it. I have the same feeling that no matter who wins the 2025 we will be in for a rough time……..🥀
Fortunately at 73, I am ready to go.....
I’m 71, and ready too. I’ve done everything I could with my life so far.
Widowed and 76 this Sunday, so am I.
