Hi Jay! Excellent card and clever reverse engineering. People might appreciate knowing about the die option. The die is called the Spinner Square Pop-up and is available from my website karenburniston dot com, or in the UK at Crafts U Love. I spent many years cutting pop-ups by hand, but now I turn my designs into dies that will get you from paper to pop-up really quickly, leaving lots of time to focus on the decorating.
wish you would sell the tutorial in steps for this mechanism...so mechanically challenged...would love steps right in front of me....let me know if you would consider it....i have to keep rewinding and making notes...too fast for me....

Almedia Seal the cardbase is UK 21cmx14.5cm folded in half. US is wider and shorter I believe

You can buy a spinner die from Karen Burniston - her square spinner set has this mechanism in a die so you can just cut and fold.
Loved the card but that incessant bell music almost drove me crazy.
