How to convert the Gast 1023 from 220v from factory to 115v.

I have this motor and the black wire from my wiring harness burnt/disconnected. I reworded it and put it back on and the motor just makes a noise but doesn’t start turning. It will spin freely by hand though. Not sure what’s going on. It’s wired up the way you have it here for the 110.

Are you saying the black hot wire and white neutral go on the same stud?

Does it matter which posts you put the white and black supply wires on, you didn't make that very clear?

i don't know what model that is and would have to have a wiring diagram. some of these have different motors and are actually wired different from this

If the power coming to the switch is 115 it can’t be done. You can change the power but it would be easier to get a 115 v switch we have plenty of them.
