  • This demo shows how to make the double spiral clover piece and how to link them together for a bracelet or anklet.
    I use 18 gauge wire for the clovers and also for the jump rings.

    What length wire should I use?

    • @solanticx
      @solanticx  Год назад +4

      I use the length of my finger 👆 Then I make the loop, and then again the finger. You can also play with the length to have bigger or smaller spirals, just make sure that both sides have the same length. 🙌👌🤗🙏🌒☀️🌘

    I use copper wire but it gets all banged up when I flatten it with a hammer 🔨 any tips?? 😅

    • @solanticx
      @solanticx  9 месяцев назад +1

      Well, hammering it's not as easy as it seems. Copper it's better than brass because it's even more malleable. This piece/bracelet will be my next tutorial, the problem is that as a nomad for half a year it's more difficult for me to upload new videos. Some things I do when hammering spirals is: 1. Do not hammer hard but consistently, the piece will flatten even with a lot of small hits. 2. During the hammering I stop if/when the spiral gets a bit separated, and using the pliers gently I pull it up together. Then I continue to hammer. 3 You can try to file the piece after the hammering using different grinds of sandpaper to smith it. I hope to provide better information on the new tutorial soon! Hope that helps! Thanks for commenting! 🙏🙌🌒☀️🌘

    No instructions about gauge or length of wire used. This is not a how to video, just someone trying to show off.

      In the description says that I use 18 gauge. This is an old video. On all the new ones I try to explain all the process. I will soon address this technique too. Thanks for your kind words and your assumption that I just want to show off. 👍
