I honestly enjoy you and Cooper and videos and antics you bring to the channel, but adding James to the team was a stroke of brilliance. His knowledge and expertise in all things automotive and racing is incredible and his great attitude and demeanor fills a gap in the Cleetus McFarland gang. I really want to see more on his vehicles and builds and some of the inside working of your shop.
James not only has the skill to take these cars further, he seems like a genuinely decent and kind person. Come for the cars, stay for the friendship and the way these guys love each other. Jeremy’s crew and and Boosted Bois are in the same category. Being kind and decent is critical, the cars are just how they share the story.
I told my buddies that Cleetus, aka Garrett Mitchell, will be the next Mickey Thompson of the motorsports world. I really believe that. Congrats on the Golden Play button, best channel on RUclips!

I get notified while I'm at work of a new video, and can't wait to when I get home to watch them like I have now! Little food for thought something I've done on mini motors, primarily throttle bodies, but you can do it on that divider plate for the turbo is you can file it down to either a rounded point or to an actual point to increase airflow, and less airflow resistance

Y'all didnt watch the end of last season when Leroy ran 7 after 7 after 7. If Leroy makes a pass it's automatically a 7s now days. Even with a glide it's hard to just slap on a bigger turbo and take 1 second off
@@mattbenson6698 it is really easy to miss a gear or have a bad launch. There is a reason the fastest cars in the world are automatics. Leroy is a faster car but harder to drive fast.

Come on. It's going to be cool to see them run together but that turbo is going to kill that motor if they turn it up. The turbo will get them into the 7s but it's going to take a different motor to handle all that boost. The motor is about at it's limit with the old turbo. 870who is just under 1100hp with a glide. I'm sure Ruby will pass Leroy at some point but just not there yet. With another 427 like what's in Leroy would be a good race. I'm sure we will see that before the end of the season.
I think your right there. I'm sure there will be one hell of a Texas speed motor put in Ruby at some point, maybe as soon as before the end of the year.
@cleetus Okay, when people are talking about billet parts, all billet means is that it came from 1 solid piece of metal. The metal could be anything, steel/aluminum etc. It's not a type of metal.

Most if not billet items for engine performance are made out of aluminum.
It means they were CNC machined out of a single block, and not cast from a mold.
