One word about fuel economy: my 2017 Limited with the V6 gets strictly average fuel economy in town...but on the highway it becomes magic. With the tires well inflated and the cruise control set at 65, I always get well into the mid to upper 30s! Back when I was growing up in the eighties that would have been science fiction for a car this heavy.
How many lbs do you have your tires inflated to?
@@kw7807 I keep my tires at 40 lbs cold. I know that's controversial, but I don't mind the ride, plus it seems to corner curves well. I am satisfied with the tire wear too.
@@andrewdevay1479 do you have 245/45/20?
w definitely not. I have a base model, in 2017 it was known as the Limited...and in 2017, Limiteds with rear wheel drive were fitted with 215-65-R17. As the years passed, Chrysler started putting bigger and wider tires on even the entry models. I happen to like my 17s
@@andrewdevay1479 I have a 2014 300 S and have 245/45/20… when I change tires next time I’m going to get 275/40/20.
I like my 20” but I can see the 17” doing well
Just had it as a rental. Amazing car. Much better at turning than you’d expect
Dodge brands 👎
Absolutely excellent review Jerry! I’m so glad these are back!😸😻😸
I drive a 2019 300s love the way it handles love the power it a great car I don't agree with most of his statements
Great job. I have the same car but all BLACK inside and out. Love it.
I have a 2019 300 touring with the Sport Appearance package in Bright White, V6 ,Love it 😁👍
Great video 👍👍 Keep on keeping on ✌️
Love the candy apple color. Great review
Thanks!
I used to have a 2013 Chrysler 300s v6 version. I had A TON of fun with the car. The only thing is the repairs and maintenance on those cars. When I sold mine it had about 65k miles on it and I could tell the transmission was about to give up. I traded it for a brand new Civic and I miss it every time I drive my car now. Learn it from me though those cars aren't fun at all when you don't make enough money to repair them. In a little bit less than 2 years, I had to change the breaks on the 4 wheels, one of the two exhausts a part broke, a plastic housing broke so the antifreeze was shooting out in the radiator fan onto the motor, stuff like that so be careful when buying one of those cars. Although I had tons of problems with mine I'll definitely buy a newer one in a couple years just because I loved the experience so much.
Whew! That's good to know, cuz I was thinking bout buying one today🥴
Awesome. Instant subscriber. I want this car.
Just got a new 2020. Love it so far. So roomy and comfortable
By roomy in the back seat can 2 car seats fit ?
I have a 2020 300 with the Red S package. Love this car. One note… steering is just fine but is definitely tighter and more responsive in Sport mode.
Happy New Year, Beautiful Car. The Leather Seats Make This Car Especially If It's New. I Have Been In Three Not Too Long Ago. I Still Hate Chryslers But Would Consider Since Watching Your Videos On Buying One, Maybe?
I really love this channel
Thank you!
@@100RentalCars you’re so welcome. You put lots of work into it and I enjoy watching thanks for making them.
Great review! I really like the 300 S if I got one would want the V8 Hemi. I really regret saying this but short and long term problems seem to pop up with these cars from transmission , electrical to poor bui l d quality. I have read even the techs working in the dealerships are having problems diagnosing and repairing some of the issues these cars have.
Extended warranty would be a must if u buy one of these.
I rented a 2015 Limited model 5 years ago on a weekend trip to Texas... I really liked it, although it was black-on-black in the hot Texas summer heat, so that was the only thing I didn't like about it... it also didn't have remote start or a backup camera for $30k back in 2015. But it was comfortable and a really nice car. :)
I have a 2017 300s I love the car looks just like that 2021 I happy with every dollar spent on it people are always asking and commenting it. Mine is the ceramic grey color the first year that color came out
I have the 2020 V8 love the car I like the handling but I’m not sure if the V6 comes with the sport mode which makes everything handle tighter.
How is the foot space in those for the Driver? Also I'm wondering if you had the Steering set in Sport. I drive a 21 Charger GT and its really nimbel and turns instantly.
Great review as usual 😀 cool car
This car still looks slick! Definitely could use an update though. Looking forward to this one! Also, you should do your ratings out of 10 (ex. 9.5/10) for a more precise recommendation!
They should update it by making it gluten free
Chrysler us going broke it's a matter of time before they are gone
Absolutely love FCA’s UConnect system. And like you, I always prefer having dedicated buttons for climate and radio. Not just on the screen.
FCA is awesome
@@e70_x5_guy4 it’s not gluten free though
U can change the steering in the settings I change mine to sport and it’s tighter
Really? I didn't notice that when I went into Sport Mode. Thanks for pointing that out! I'll try it next time.
there is a setting that allows you to choose sports, standard or comfort steering and handing. You can access it through the console. I drive a 2015 300s AWD and absolutely love it
Have to put it in sport mode to make the steering wheel to tighten
It's the fancy version of the Charger SXT. I want to buy a 300 before they quit selling them. I want to give up my Intrepid some time this year.
I've got a 2013,I LOVE this car!!,four years trouble free!!
Same here I just finished payments on my 300 finished a 4 year loan and had no issues so far! 2014 300
I'm tempted to get a newer model though lol
@@overdose956 hmm hi I'm 15 and I was wondering what a 2014 or 2013 be a first good car and is it reliable
@@kindsplash21 make sure its low on miles and id say go for a 2015 and higher if u can those look better haha
we love thes car 🇮🇶🇮🇶🌴😍
Steering wheel depends on your sport or lux settings. You tested it neither in sport mode or in Sport mode on trans.
Excellent review. Thank you.
I’m from the UK and have a rental booked for next year. Its Avis Group H from SFO which includes this car. Does anyone know if it has Apple's Carplay? If not, are there any other cars in this group that do?
Thank you for any help 😊
Yes it will do
If you like that, you'll love the car with the 5.7 engine it needs.
Sounds amazing. Hard to find to rent, but I'll try!
First of all ty for taking ur time in doing these videos. Then IMO I really prefer Ford's designs, as said is just my personal point of view :)
Thanks for the kind words! And I agree, I tend to like Ford styling more than Chrysler. Especially interiors. Actually, Kia has my favorite interior right now.
@@100RentalCars thanks for replying to me. I do agree that KIa (south korea), Mazda, hyundai and other asian car brands excel on their car designs! :D
100 Rental Cars I feel like Kia and Hyundai are changing the game in the car industry. I still want a 2019 Santa Fe.
Please do the hemi version of that car !!!!
Mine's a '19 limited, and there are 3 settings for steering....
Actually I get up to 23+ mpg on this. Love it.
I like the charger better but this is rlly nice
I got a 2010 Chrysler 300s i really want the new ones i love my baby but god tht a good car
I had a Chrysler 300 but with a 5.7l hemi as a rental while my 2013 grand Cherokee 250k miles was being repaired but i had to exchange it
All I can say is "I love my car" and can't think of any other I'd like to have. 2020 300s. I think the precision issue you have is that you aren't comfortable with its weight and response. That isn't meant to insult, but it takes time to adjust to how you handle it.
The S Sport red interior is nice.. But you need to drive SRT / in America we always give the Luxury cars analog clocks Dude
Does this car have cool seats as well? All I see is just heated
Btw, does it take gluten free gas?
is this more powerful than a Type R?
Using Sport mode will give you faster response
the 300 is just a charger in a tuxedo
The Grandpa of US sold cars. FCA was suppose to build a new large sedan based on the Pacifica, but I guess they decided it was too much of a risk
It wasn’t gonna be gluten free anyways
Is this classified as a premium or full size car ?
Whoa a Chrysler
Most likely Designed for the iphone, android, the pixel are just slightly beefier hand helds
I'm saving to get one in 2022
Nice! Good luck!
People love these cars, they get a lot for the money. Check Caddy or Lincoln which are canceling many of their larger models and you'll see what I mean?
Making negative comments and explaining it as ok, doesn't make you sound knowable. For instance super tight steering is not comfortable but jittery to a lot of people.
Will Chrysler be the end of 97 years of the brand before switching to Alfa Romeo, the Italian nameplate and Peugeot, the French nameplate? That's 3 years shy of being the 100 years of Chrysler nameplate.
no, Stellantis came out and said that no brand will be axed. They plan on building up each manufacturer. Chrysler used to be American luxury so they plan on making that possible. Alfa Romeo did well, sale wise, this past year so that brand w/ Maserati are planning on staying
v6 base model chrysler how much more of rental can it get
I have a 2017 they haven't changed nothing on them I love the old school clock
Was the car that filthy when you rented it?
Dreaming car dreaming car dreaming car dreaming car dreaming car......much of wow.....
37k for 2005 platformed car? Naw
So you couldn't clean the wheels? Come on bro. Lol
It’s a rental
Hold up... No GPS for Navigation?
You get it through android auto or something connect for iphone
My 2020 has gps Navigation but I never use it. I’m used to the nav on my iPhone. Plus, you have to pay $99.95 for updates to the cars nav.
Could be more fun to drive if we still had the srt8 but nooooo.....
IN MY OPINION THE STEERING IS AN ADVANTAGE;I.E. TOYOTA OTHERS WITH DIRECT STEERING YOU ARE OFF THE ROAD IN ONE SECOND. AMERICAN CARS ARE LIKE THAT SAFETY CONSCIOUS. NOT PERFORMANCE. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST CARS OUT THERE SADLY DISCONTINUES 2023. HARLEY'S DO THE SAME THING DELAYED THROTTLE. YES VERY QUIET I CAN HEAR VIA VIDEO. STICK WITH YOUR FOREIGN CARS YOU DON'T DESERVE THIS BEAUTY:) I LIKED YOUR PRESENTATION ; I.E. ROAD NOISE SECOND TO MENTION VERY IMPORTANT. GROW UP OLD MAN. GET A HOT ROD:) EXCELLENT REVIEW IN EVERY RESPECT NON PRESSURE SLOW AND PRECISE. PLEASE CONTACT CHRYSLER WITH YOUR REVIEW AND REQUEST NOT TO DISCONTINUE THIS VEHICLE. CLASS ACT, LARGE ENOUGH TO BE SAFE, COMFORTABLE, CLASSY, HISTORICAL. I AM 78 SO REMEMBER THE IMPERIAL A VERY VERY CLASSY BOAT. CHRYSLER WAS KING. SADLY MANAGEMENT IS CRITICAL A LA FORD, GM OTHERS. THANK YOU.
Omg you found a fossil. Call the Museum of Unnatural History.
300s are cool as hell though
@@LiteralSparkPlug agreed. Just last week, purchased a 2020 Limited with Tech package fully loaded and it’s the best vehicle choice I’ve ever made.
@@collegekid8609 I’m glad to hear that. The 300 is gonna be next car in a year or 2 after I finish paying off my current car I’ve been obsessed with them for a while
For comparison, here is my review of the same car :) ruclips.net/video/UWzIXNGAMw4/видео.html
It's time for them to upgrade the interior this car is a couple years behind now
the same disaster of the jeep liberty 2003 and all chrysler x.7 engines? my liberty keeps melted after that planed obsolecense.
Need a v8 in there
My dad had one exactly like this as a rental. Thing was trash. 20k miles and had a clunking in the front suspension.
Chryslers are cheap cars and parts are cheap. Mechanics also know them very well. So it is not that much of an issue.
I’ve had my 2013 300S awd v6 for almost 8 years and as with all the other Chrysler vehicles I’ve owned have never had any trouble with it and I’m hard on vehicles. The GM vehicles I’ve owned, though, (Camaro, Monte Carlo, 1/2 ton 4wd pickup, Malibu) had so many problems with reliability and customer service that I will never buy another one.
I just returned one today and I absolutely loved it.
@@cytrynowy_melon6604 35k-40k "cheap" lol
To much stuff that can and will go wrong and need repairs. Give me a nice basic car without all the extra junk.
The styling is getting very dated. The old design is why there is no adequate cell phone storage.
If you want a reliable car that will last. This aint it
Have you actually had one before? I thought the newer ones, ‘18 - ‘21, were pretty reliable. They have good reviews.
I had two chryslers one 300s and the other one was a pt cruiser they both were trash. Yea good reviews perhaps on the way it drives/feels/ interiors
@@stardog2779 appreciate your feedback, bro. Reliability is definitely a concern of mine when it comes to this car. I love the clean look, and what looked to be a roomy interior, but obviously, reliability then comfort, are the two main things that I am looking for in my next car.
Obama haha
Looks very dated
Hey let’s review a dirty car wonder why my reviews are 🗑
Car is very outdated, not sure why this generation is still around, review on this was a waste of time
It looks outdated. Luxury, a Chrysler? Lol 😂 If it ain’t Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Land Rover, or Rolls Royce is not luxury. 😂😂😂 🇩🇪
Of course it does, this original platform goes back to 2005, 16 yrs old. FCA is lucky that no one else sells a large, RWD sedan, so it really has no competition in the US
@@pedrofernandez8729 Cadillacs aren’t luxury neither. Americans don’t have class. lol 😂
