Rewatching and loving it again. Great reminder to put the puppy by themselves in a safe/controlled environment for a while without sounds….so they can self-soothe. I love snow. Seeing Daisy explore was great. If we get snow, for sure Jasper will be given the choice to go explore because mommy will be out and exploring 😊

Yes! That is great! I wish I had some snow to introduce the puppies to now - for an hour or so! But you will be able to teach him about snow after you've gotten him and that will be an adventure together.

Yes! Today I've been keeping her by herself - much of the time with me when I am doing errands in my house. At one point I went into my Christmas Decor Storage Closet which Daisy has never been in. Of course she follows me everywhere! When I was ready to leave the storage area I walked out and she looked at me like "I'm not finished yet! I've never been in here before and there is more to explore." So I left her in the closet and she never made a peep ... she kept exploring. 10 minutes later I opened the door and asked her to come - which she did but I think she would have been happy to stay in there too. Thank you for enjoying my videos.

I think we all fell in love❤️ with Daisy over the past 20 weeks since birth. I will miss her. Always loved her unique coloring and she was so excellent at her training. Thanks for teaching owners how to raise well adjusted pups. One of my past dogs loved green beans and the other did not. Funny, how human like pups are with their own personalities and preferences in treats & toys. My goodness…your backyard view is fabulous! ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️

Bradlee will be 11 months old this month and had no problem being alone. It helps that I had 3 older dogs to help him along. Jaxson who is the same age as Daisy 5 months(same litter) does fine alone in his playpen and if I need to leave.

What do you recommend someone with a 5 month old puppy to do when they leave for work?
3x a week my puppy will be alone from 7am-11am then 12pm-5pm. The other days are WFH & a 1/2 day. Should she only be in a crate, or should she be in a play pen with a potty tray?

Several options: In a play pen with my RUclips channel playing to keep your puppy company! Another option is to get a 2nd puppy to keep the first one company - this is great because then they always have each other and you don't feel guilty leaving one alone that long. Dogs are pack animals and thrive with their pack. So another option is to expand your pack with people too - you could dog share your puppy with someone who would love to have a dog but doesn't want the long term commitment (many retired people fit into this situation.) They would be happy to play with, visit, walk etc your puppy while you are at work. What do you think of these options
