I’ve always dreamed of living in LA. There are so many beautiful things about it. So sad to see these beautiful neighbourhoods destroyed.

It is one of the most disgusting, ugly, wicked places ever. I lived there…everyone LOVES to deceive you for NO reason. Almost everyone walking (not driving) is possessed visibly possessed by demons…you can’t trust anyone basically. They are sick and very p3rverted morally and no one helps anyone genuinely…its RARA to find a genuine human there.

I forgot to mention…don’t go outside even at like 8:00pm because the Demons are out especially at that time. Its extremely dangerous.

I feel this deeply. I’m over by the Hollywood bowl and Wednesday was sooo scary. I didn’t lose anything, but yeah I just feel so on edge and unsure if it’s safe to relax. The wind is supposed to pick back up tonight. But yes the community response has been so heartwarming. Sending you love 🫶🏾

It’s scary rn. I’m from Altadena. My mom’s house tried and brother still live there and they lost everything! Hoping things will get better and mental states are put at ease sooner than later.

You just showed up on my feed. Never heard of you before, but I resonate with you. I left Los Angeles in 2014 (to move up here to BC, Canada), but I am a born and raised Cali gal, with a dash of east coast (New Jersey from ages 2-8, then Los Angeles in 1992 when I was 8).
I remember in 1992 watching the city burning due to police brutality. I recall other times the city was on fire, and seeing the ash come down. I feel for you and breathing.
I have been trying to reach out to so many friends and family. Still not heard from some and it’s hard not to worry. But, I’ve heard of friends losing their homes, friends with kids ready to evacuate… it has been so sad to hear the news. LA was where I learned to drive, where I excelled in band geekery (like you!), and so much more. I’m 41 and I just can’t imagine being in the thick of it right now, especially since I’m a mom now.
I sincerely am grateful to hear you have been building community. I’m grateful you seem safer; though, anything can change. I hope you are able to find some comfort in all this. I don’t know you, but if I could give you my number to just give you an ear, I would.
Please take good care of yourself. Definitely mask up and stay as kind to your heart as you move through all of this trauma.
I will subscribe to make sure you’re okay. ❤

I’m so sad that one of the last remaining Black neighborhoods has been destroyed in Altadena. A lot of those families are unlikely to rebuild or stay in the city without a concentrated effort by leaders. The Black generational wealth is gone. So many of the people living in those homes were elderly Black people who bought their homes when redlining pushed them into those communities. Most are not tech savvy and are unable to navigate the government programs

I'm glad you are safe and sorry to hear that you are so close to it. I am in Palisades and Pasadena driving rideshare often and I thank God that I didn't really do a lot of driving that day it happened. I was charging my vehicle most of the day and I saw the fire in Palisades when I got off the freeway coming home that night, driving North, but I am closer to Westchester/Culver City. And yes that ash is crazy and haze is crazy. I've been here most of my life, moved to GA for 9 years and came back recently. Praying for all who are evacuating. There's never been a fire like this that reaches the area I am in.

I knew this day was coming but it came so quickly and abruptly, no one would have guessed LA could burn like this. It was always Northern Cali or the forest fires. So sad for all the ppl who are being uprooted. And prayers for new beginnings, healing and recovery to everyone effected.

Your feeling of loss is in the places where you created memories...you are in mourning...that is what you are feeling. It's the fact that you won't be able to revisit many of the places where you have created memories because they are either gone, or will be forever changed even if they are restored. You are mourning the fact that so many have lost their lives. Others have lost their livelihoods along with their homes...and with all of this, there is a very, very long and uncertain road ahead. It all makes sense. It's all so very sad. 😟😥

SoCal resident of 50 years here and was probably directed to this channel from watching fire content
CA is an extreme weather environment. I have dealt with evacuations in San Diego County , Santa Barbara county, Ventura County, and yes even LA county.
The fire season NEVER ends in CA until significant rain comes - usually in October. The key issues that will face the human population in the LA basin
    1. Overpopulation - there is simply too many humans living in chapparel covered hills, hence, the feeling of so much destruction The chapparel could be managed better and the government is largely to blame for not doing regular controlled burns
I have been in CA fires 10X the size of the palisades fire (25k acres) In last 10 years or so in Santa Barbara county approx 500k acres and SF Bay Area approx 500k acres (this can easily be verified ). The key difference is low population density in the other areas. So the population issue will continue to plague the region in terms of disasters as the population continues to rise
    2. Climate change - whether real or imagined - seems to be a factor and I have witnessed decade after decade of more and more extreme weather events. There is the arson factor but that is largely a non issue it’s the extreme droughts coupled with the Santa winds - look up the Venturi Effect and how it creates such devastating conditions in the hills and canyons - which is why the humans shouldn’t be in the mountains like those in the palisades area. But the humans will return and the cycle will repeat.
Good luck to you all. I have homes in both NorCal and SoCal so there is always stress during the fire events
The 1% elites will be just fine and will easily adapt to the situation. The remaining 99% will have a very difficult time for the foreseeable future
