I wish all zoos could Love and Respect their Gorillas like this zoo . They Truly have a Wonderful Life. They are Safe and well fed. You don't see many injuries , maybe minor ones but no horrific ones. There are a lot of zoos out there that learn a lot from this one. Thank You to all who care for this Beautiful Family. It really shows just how much they are Loved.❤❤❤
Ringo may not know what estrus is at his young age but he is able to determine that there is something different and unique about his auntie hence his desire to be constantly around her. Apes mature at a quicker pace than humans and even D'jeeco is aware of his son's development. I don't know what goes on between D'jeeco and his wives in the confines of their nighttime enclosure but if one or both of the girls is hot to trot, he better get on with business!
D'Jeeco seems a bit concerned (but who really knows) He seemed reassured that she isn't in estrous, but a little uncomfortable. Regardless, Ringo is such a little man in the way he displays and runs and behaves even apart from his aunt. He seemed to always have an admiration for her as well. And, who wouldn't climbing electric trees etc! What a woman! 🥰 Jabali is still a big kid. So is Ringo, but he is manly for such a young little fellow. It is easy to forget that Tayari is only 13. Still a teenager herself.

My response to you implying that Tayari has been sexually grooming Ringo his whole life is this: That statement is clearly false and shows the level of insight/knowledge of gorillas that you evidently lack. Ringo doesn’t have the necessary hormones to understand what he’s doing or to complete a sexual act and Tayari being an older female knows that. Ringo is very observant and often mimics what the other gorillas in the troop are doing (ie. prodding, smelling, mounting, rubbing, hugging etc.) but instead of acknowledging that as a natural behavior by him you instead tried to paint Tayari as some sort of sexual predator instead. IMO your attempt to blame her for Ringo’s actions in this video stems from your immense dislike for her which has been well documented.✌️

Jabali no es tonto, él creció viendo a su madre siendo sumisa a su padre y amándolo, entonces él lo imita, Jabali ama a D'jeeco y me atrevería a pensar que lo admira, ves la emoción en un Jabali bebé cuando DJ se acerca ni siquiera puede evitar tocarlo cuando se acerca. If she has been seriously cutting Jabali's milk she may be getting close to estrous but we dont see much of their breastfeeding except for brief periods. Her body timeline is certainly ready for estrous considering Jabari's age. We just recently saw her pushing him away and if thats been going on repeatedly she might be getting close. I hope so, it's the big mans time for intimate attention and it might help his recent ill temperament.
D'Jeeco keeps dismissing her attempts at getting some attention from him. So she tries to get it from Ringo. I think maybe to make D'Jeeco notice. Which he does. But still brushes her off. I think she may be in heat. Or just wants male attention. 😊
Jabs mom could be busy all day every day and then some. Ringos dad gets some urges. But it must knock him in the head. SILVERBACK would have a different perspective if he had a big boy competition. Since life is at his pace, he can eat, sleep, nap, and when the mood strikes, he looks or sniffs her, and she jumps. Ringo mom eats. Ringo 🤔 and forages and watches the ⛅️ plays with brother or teases all by being fastest in running. Or just looks adorable 😍
The other video was worse, Ringo did not care that they were right in front of dad. If she is in heat go get your husband, even Jabali ran over and stopped it. The crazy part is Ringo look right in his dads face and did not stop. First Tayari was doing the same to jabali now its ringo, come on now
