At the beginning, while moving in a circle there was a moment when I was able to see the chi addressed to the center of the circle.
One of the most beautiful and dangerous dances, I understand the reason for that name well.

Mud stepping is purely for training the legs. In real pa kua, the rear foot shoot never move beyond the front knee. This is not Sun Lu Tang's style (Eight Animal" Thjs is purely demonstration stuff.

BaGua is no doubt more effective a fighting art than it may appear.

The BaGua forms aren't techniques (like katas)....the form is a series of principles of movement. It teaches the practitioner how to move, extend power, gather momentum.......it's like practicing chords on a guitar.

@@claudes.whitacre1241exactly, i do not understand how people never get this.
Such a thing also applies to Xing Yi Quan, Taijiquan and even Bajiquan. Sure, you can use the moves in their forms for actual fighting if you're very good, but they are supposed to be concepts and comditioning techniques rather than actual fighting moves

Pa kua, as a martial art, is a very good dance.
(I don't know if you get the joke, at least, this kind of joke makes sense in portuguese, lol).
