Just one thing. When lets say n=2, derivative function that you get is dy/dx=2x+0.001 and not just 2x. Where from that 0.001 comes from? You can see this even in second row: when x=0 then dy/dx = 0.001. Is it because step of dx is finite?
thank you.i wish you would be taking second and third drivitives too.solving engineering formulas always require couple of drivitives and plotting them.drivitive formula is not getting shown by excel right? Please teach us how to solve complex matrics with several variables in it.When i check the text books in " structural analysis" those matrices are soo confusing to solve.is there any way to solve and plot them in excel?

Read a book about "numerical linear algebra". I found some books are good and show how to solve hard matrices using computer code.
