Hell of an intro. Saw failure summer 97 lalaposa in Denver. Ive never gotten tired of fantastic planet like so many bands i loved throughout the years. Its Tool, deftones, and failure my go to music that never gets old.
I second this. Found out about em after the APC cover… so can’t claim to be an OG fan but have been a fan since then which is damn near 20 years now. They’re so good live I saw them twice in 15
still don't knowhow this band could get so little recognition in the 90s. This is one of my fav albums of all time and they still keep up making great music (again). Also Ken is seems to be such a humble man regarding tohis channel. Learned a lot 'bout writing from him. Love from germany
Secrets of Lost Empires I didn't get to.....I tried taking off of my band to see them, ironically, people travelled a long ways to see me...so, I did the right thing...maybe next time
Thank you for posting this show. I love this band and will love them till I'm dead. It started with Magnified then Fantastic Planet and now their new album is beautifully done. I hope to see them live one day soon.
Saw the show in phx. When they played the clip of the stuck on you video mixed to nobody does it better I about lost my shit! Fantastic. Pissed it had to get taken out of this video. Thanks for recording the show. Simply amazing
@ 11:20 - 11:30 .. is the talking in the middle of solaris, it is in swedish: ja, skulle man kanskje inte vara så sent, alldeles for sent, men da bliver du alt jag pratar om, words, words, words.. translated in english: yeah, maybe you should'nt be to late, far too late.. but, then you become all i'm talking about, words, words, words..
I’m sure it’s happened, but what band has ever played their entire album?! Especially one as amazing as Failure! They even played my (Bernie) favorite song from Magnified! Every song off of Fantastic Planet is amazing.
I saw FAILURE play this same set ( the ENTIRE Fantastic Planet album from start to finish ) at The Glass House in Pomona a few years ago, but could never find a full show video that includes that intro film.... THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been wanting to see that again so bad!!!!! It just set a really cool atmosphere to the show on top of an already amazing album... wish I could relive that night for real whenever I wanted!!!
I was in Pomona too. And then the band invited me for their show in San Diego the day after. And again, I got invited again for their third show, in The Roxy in L.A.. It was a miracle experience, the whole thing. I traveled from The Netherlands to see them live
Damn, this is some great sound and video! Thank you so much for posting this! It's nice to see that they played "Bernie" for this show, though I absolutely love "Wet Gravity".
Awesome, thanks for sharing! I'm standing directly in front of the drumkit in the video (not the best plan in hindsight, but it was still an amazing show).
Are you hooked up to the sound board? How do I get good audio on an iPad. I was just left of soundboard at this show and so happy to RE-live this night!
Audio and video are as captured by iPhone 7 Plus. Failure's live mix is always clean, but I think it helped that the phone was mounted to the outside of the balcony railing, centered between and level with the PA speakers.
Kelli may be the most underrated drummer ever
he's got a creativity to him for sure
The drumming on Pitiful is especially good!
The drumming on "Pitiful" was the exact opposite of the title!
One of the best bands of all time!!
I was at this show. Fantastic does not even begin describing how incredible this gig was. They were ON

fantastic planet ..we neet again. k.andrews. genius.
Geezus Crisps Kelli killed it during the whole set but my gawd during Pitiful… 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🔥🔥🔥
I'll be 40 in a week , and I want to go see this band in Phoenix. That's what I want for my birthday.
I just saw them in Nashville a few nights back. So great. Do it.
Did you see the Phoenix show at the Crescent? It was freaking fantastic 🤘
Secrets of Lost Empires I didn't get to.....I tried taking off of my band to see them, ironically, people travelled a long ways to see me...so, I did the right thing...maybe next time
@@secretsoflostempires7154 saw them at the crescent a few months ago. excellent venue to see them in.
did you?
Videos of the 70's, music of the 90's tecnology of today... I timeless masterpiece
I was here man. And the Atlanta show before that.. Epic.
Great show! Failure is my favorite band, ever since Fantastic Planet. Love all their albums!
Was there. Mind-blowing.
So badass never get rid of this.
the intro movie is called "power of ten" made 40 years ago 1977
39:08 I've never heard Ken do anything like this. I wish he did that more often
I think he wouldn't have got the last words of the song out otherwise, like, the usual way. It sounded strained.
Thank you for posting this. The audio is really good. I'm blasting it right now. Alcohol is involved. :-)

So glad I stumbled across this video! Thanks for posting.

Radiohead OK Computer, Phish (The White Album), Tool Innocuous to name what I can off the top of my head. Not many but it happens occationally.
screaming vocals in the end of Pillowhead surprised me!

Fantastic Planet is a great album, but Magnified is just as good, hope they do a tour playing all of Magnified and a few songs from others.
yes
hells yes man. thank you. went to the Scottsdale show. this is perfect.
Great footage. Saw them at The Roxy.

The only three piece in rock that consistently sounds like a 12 piece.
Moholand Drive is so good.

Does anyone know the name of the video they played at the beginning that showed the scale of the universe?
fuck pillowhead was so fucking agressive!! one tour i wish i could see but i live in australia :'(
What up with the audio cut-off during the intro when the James Bond & Stuck On You visuals start playing?
The best crowd ever. Deaf or someting?
An intro of more than 20 f@kin minutes? C´mon! give me my money back.
