we took the van up the mountain for a little overnight adventure, and then spent some time at the farm, enjoying the space and spending time with her family ♡♡

Literally cracked myself when Hannah said she is gonna make coffee Isabel style and proceeded to grind which looked like 2 hours in 10 different positions. Loved you two together, perfect combo of Hannah craziness in the calmness of Isabel's routine....making them dance while working and saying obscure things :)
Hannah appreciating the large tubular vegetable & Isabel's reaction , funny .. & your grinding the coffee forever , here, there & everywhere .. was hilarious to me .. The two of you eating out of pan while camping with the most beautiful, multicolored mountain/sky back ground was stunning .. You bring so much fun to everything .. I am 82 years old and I love watching both of them....the spirit doesn't get old and when I watch them I forget how old I am and belong right in the middle of it. I can run up to the top of the hill and rarely does my brain interfere. When I am alone, I am all of me...all the way as far back as I remember. I bet the same happens to you. We remember something when we were 15, but we are still 15 when we remember and not our true age. When we are 40 we remember the 20 year old who broke a led skiing and we see us as 20 in our mind. We can ski down the mountain again and know exactly where we crashed, We are as young as the age we remember. That's nice. Do I make sense or am I simply babbling ....

I can too but I only see her loving like flower gardening and not necessarily food like Isabel. I can also see her growing her own fruits like different berries and such but not like a full orchard or anything.

Having spent much of my youth in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Heather and Kait, the only problem with growing a garden is having basically three months of 12 to plant and grow. But yes, I could see Hannah investing in flowers over food, but as we all know, she's just as likely to build a greenhouse that would remain warmer than the cottage during the brutal winter weather!

Yeah that part made me so itchy! Played with fiberglass when I was a kid without knowing and had to throw away all my clothes afterwards. That’s some nasty shit !!!!

what fiberglass? i didnt see them insulating. wondered why that guy was wearing a full ventillator lol. as far as fiberglass in your lungs goes, i once worked at therm-all a factory where they use these giant roller machines to attach the backing to the fiberglass insulation rolls. none of those guys wore masks. all they did was duct tape their sleeves. worst job i evr had to do haha. fuck that place. i had that stuff on all of my clothes and in my house and in my bed and on my pillowcase. makes me itchy just thinking about it haha. oh i looked back he did do the insulation but kept the mask on after. i dont think a mask is required. def dont need a full on ventillator lol but thats good to protect your lungs sure.

This episode of you pair together was stunning , down to earth , full of fun & LIFE . All of you girls make a major impact on my life , lets me immerse myself in what you do each week and lets me forget what goes on around me . Hello Robert, may I recommend Marina, from the channel Wild she goes? Formerly known as Pamthevan, at the time she was doing vanlife with her dog all over Europe. Since Odie (her dog)passed away she settled in the italian Alps in a house, which she renovates and decorates. She started a garden, fosters dogs, collects wild edibles, builds things with her own two hands etc. Seriously check her out if you are into strong, down-to-earth, independent women with a kind nature.
It just showed how she was running power to her tiny house, so not off-grid at all.

HANNAH, when you said "the air feels familiar" I knew exactly what you meant!! TRUE SHORT STORY-> my mom gave me a few canning jars, I got them home, let them sit for a couple weeks before washing them all out. A few had lids n rings and when I opened them, they smelled like my moms house! Sweet, from the fruits trees they grow, sweet from the honey bees. And I quickly put the lids back on. I will keep 3 to "smell home"😊😥👍❣

Yes, it isn't rabbit wire though. You just can't stop all the critters. I knew a guy who planted a field of melons to sell at the local store in Minnesota. The mice loved burrowing into them and eating themselves crazy on the melon. Nature is persistent when it comes to critter survival.

So, I am rewatching this. It would be so fun to see Isabel and Hannah visiting with each other again. They create such a lovely vibe. Also, it is interesting to compare the cabin as it was back then, to the newly renovated model. It highlights what a great job Isabel did on remodelling. And yet, simple and imperfect as it was then, still there was the welcoming feel of home. 😊

I'm really glad I found these videos. I'm a bit of a loner and I have a really hard time doing things in public by myself even if it's somewhere I wanna be. This is what I have been waiting for. :) The traveling together in the van was so cute and fun, but seeing the two of you hanging out together on the actual personal turf of one or the other was the awaited moment!
