very cool composition :D i like the 4th variation the most! it has a very delicate sound to it and reminds me of romantic era music. it reminds me of a composer but i forgot their name:(

It's very much indebted to beethoven (The sparse texture from variation 4 of the sonata no 12, and the tremolos are commonplace in his later sonatas)
