Another great video Thersites!!!!, I am watching your videos non-stop. Besides, I am waiting eagerly the Metellus Scipio's video, to learn on detail about one of the greatest Roman of all history
0:21 but did he appreciate the comedy genius of Hannibal Buress?
In an ideal world, I would have Metellus Scipio ready to go for April 1st, but it will take a while longer. There was a recent book by Josiah Osgood that I need to read so that I can respond to his thesis about who the most important figures of the Late Republic were.
@@ThersitestheHistorian Constantine IX anytime soon by any chance?
Centenius may have been the wrong man at the wrong place at the wrong time - but YOU, my friend, are the RIGHT man ❤ thanks for the upload
waiting for Thersites to go full-time. one of my favourite channels I wish he would post more often
I am also awaiting the day when that becomes an option.
Keep it up, I enjoy the streams and every Roman video
Crazy how hotly anticipated these these sporadically released powerpoints are; a testament to their quality.
Thanks a bunch for sharing this with us Big!
Great video once again!
great series
Do a video about Publius Cornelius Scipio Nasica Corculum, Thersites. Anyway, great video as always.
Another great one
Everytime someone tells about a historical figure that’s well renowned I’ll ask, jokingly, are they a war criminal? Cause statistically speaking they most likely are
Pretty much. It is usually a safe bet.
Bonus nuntium
Great 🎉
Some video on descendants of augustus would be nice, i saw some claims that emperor Gordianus III was related to augustus by some female lines, he also had daughter Furia from what i saw, but nothing is known about her...
Interesting. I am not aware of that claim, but it isn't surprising that someone living in the 3rd Century would make such a bid for legitimacy.
@@ThersitestheHistorian male line ended up with Nero, but where female line ended is the question, Julia the younger apparently had daughter Aemilia Lepida, that had Junia Lepida, then Cassia Longina, then Domitia Longina, then Ignota Plautia etc... there is some graph on the internet idk if true or valid, it has some discussions about it on the internet...
👍👍👍
You’re my favourite RUclipsr
Thersites what is your Favorite video you've made?
I would give pride of place to my series on the Successors and I most enjoyed researching and writing about Seleukos. I also take some pride in the somewhat recent videos I did on the Roman naval commanders of the 190's.
