Thanks for coming all the way from Toronto for Brick Rodeo! It was great to get to know you and see your INCREDIBLE build! Super helpful to see how you transport, as we’ll be heading to some conventions via flight soon!
@ABrickDreamer yeah it was totally worth it though! 🙌 learned a lot for next time as well so glad I went for it! Next convention I'm going to is near where I live so I won't have to worry about flying!! 💕🇨🇦
@KathyHughes-tc1mq thanks! It was an enjoyable experience despite the travel worries haha. Next one I am attending is in Toronto, Canada. Hope you can make it! 💕🇨🇦
Thank you for showing us your travel process!!! Im scared to fly with lego, but i think youve inspired me to just do it! Thanks for bringing your amazing MOC to The Lone Star State!
@AvgJoeTinkering I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful! Flying was not easy and if you're prepared for some reassemble then you'll be fine! Curious to see how my next trip goes with these new ideas! Thanks for having me in the Lone Star State! 💕🇨🇦
Thanks for showing the packing! I will employ these tips next year! It was great meeting you in Austin. The build was breathtaking! Congrats on your trophy!
@BuildwMarcella thank you so much! Definitely felt like I learned a lot and happy to share with everyone! So so happy I got to meet you in Austin, everyone was so welcoming and I had a great time! Surreal that I won a trophy 🙈 💕🇨🇦
Well done with the packing! I shudder to think about ever having to fly with LEGO... I'm going to BrickFair VA in the beginning of June and displaying my large medieval village MOC, and it will be my first ever LEGO convention! But I'm local to the area, so I hope to not have too much difficulty transporting the MOC there.
@BDD_Builds nice!! Have fun at the convention, my next one is in the fall and that is close enough to drive so it should be a lot easier for me to transport! Definitely plan on bringing something bigger this time since I don't have to worry about flying haha! 💕🇨🇦
I did wonder how you transported such a detailed and decent sized moc. I guess it can be hit or miss on the condition it arrives in but looks like you did an amazing job. Looking on the bright side if a lot of damage is sustained is you get to build it again 😀
@simonmoss101 yes it was a but tricky but glad there was more damage coming home vs going there. Almost completely rebuilt now! (Just need to assemble trees!) Can't wait to be able to drive to the next one 🤣 💕🇨🇦
Oh man, the humanity! Glad you were able to repair and show, just a terrific diorama! Do you keep these together or do you recycle everything into your next creation?
@GutMuncherZero thanks so much! A bit discouraging to unwrap it but it's almost all back together (just need to assemble trees!) I will be recycling this one after I enjoy it for a bit and then building something new! 💕🇨🇦
@bradyjoynerbricks so with the rebuild everything went back as it was, except the mountain (rockwork is never the same!) But I took lots of pics and videos beforehand to ensure it was as close as possible to the original build! Glad you found the video helpful! 😍🙌 💕🇨🇦
Very helpful to see how they faired in the travel - sorry you had to rebuild elements!! Thanks for sharing your tips, and good luck with the rebuild!
Great tips on transport MOC 👍👍 definitely very challenging especially travel by plane 🤭
@brickknight8611 thanks so much! Really learned a lot with this trip. Looking forward to being able to drive to the next one 🤣

@@ProcrastinatinZombie haha had quite a bit of rebuilding anyways so I can't imagine if I hadn't wrapped everything 😅😅

When you rebuilt, did every piece go back in the exact same place? I’m wondering specifically about your animals and such.
