"I am the Artist-" "Um, that's a Double Claim" "Cool, Great. I am the Artist-" "That's a Double Claim" "Cool, Great. I am the Artist" I love that brief interaction lol
If I had my time over again, I probably deadvote on 7 alive to put Ekin on the block. It makes me look like I'm outing evil because I know Ekin won't be No Dashii poisoned anymore. If he gets lifted, he likely wins. If he doesn't, I look like a total fool.
Homebrew Knight pairing with a bit more flavour/power: Knight: You start knowing one good player. If they would die at night, you die instead. May add the Squire. Squire: You start knowing there is a Knight in play. Once per game, at night, guess which (living) player it is. If you guess correctly, you become a new Knight when they die.
Think "May add the squire" is a bit backwards as far as the way roles are officially written. I'd remove that from the Knight and add [+the Knight] to the squire in the same way that the Huntsman adds the Damsel.
If you are the knight and get to the final 3 with the two players you know weren't the demon at the start, there was a demon jump or a Vortox. Or you were drunk or poisoned. This doesn't confirm whether you win.
First video I've seen a slayer shoot work. Only seen it once in person too. I have noticed that in every video I see, they say the full phrase "I claim slayer and I [shoot/choose] X" whereas in person we always just shorten it to "I slay X". I guess you've got to stay professional on video.
I’ve started adding a few home made characters to my scripts when I want to keep things interesting. Our favorites so far are: Hypnotist: (Townsfolk) once per game, you can remove a player from the execution block. Anesthesiologist: (Townsfolk) At the start of each night, select a player. They don’t wake this night. Vengeful Spirit: (Outsider) If you are executed, the player who nominated you dies during the night. You become evil. Executioner: (Minion) If there are no executions during the day, the player you voted for last dies during the night.
Not sure on the first, since it seems like it's a very public 'i am 100% townie' announcement that also announces there being no real loss for killing them (as their power has now been used). The rest seem interesting - though i would personally consider adding 'if you pick the demon, you may die' or something along those lines to the anesthesiologist to prevent accidentally hard locking the demon down (and to make them really think if they should use their power on someone).
I Have an Idea For New Roles in Blood on the Clock Tower Body Guard (Townsfolk): You Protect one Player from death, On the First night you choose one player will serve as your Master, the first time your Master is killed by any means you die instead. You cannot die by execution or demon attack, you can only die if your master is killed for the First Time Doctor (Townsfolk): Each Night choose a Player, if they are good they are safe from poisoning and madness if not you are poison until dusk instead
Pity that Ekin had given up in the end. Evil + Jams could have risen up. Of course, it would have been a tough last round, but miracles can happen in this game.
Honestly, I think there was a world where they at least made final 3. It wasn't likely, but if Ekin was able to get one of Jess/Malakai killed in final 5 (perhaps with a dead vote from bort or something) and then in final 3 try and use Jams to try and convince town that the remaining of Jess/Malakai was the demon former scarlet women based on dreamer lies and marionette mistakes, it was possible. Not very likely but it would have been a super entertaining world.
Obviously evil could have used their dead votes to tie or lift but that just delays the inevitable and confirms Ekin as the demon. At that point I would consider it unsportsmanlike to delay the end of the game like that.
1:06:53 that's such a great scenario because (based on what they know/ are claiming) it legit could be Ekin as the No Dashi, Bort as his Marionette, Jams still as the No Dashi-poisoned Dreamer and Roxxi as No Dashi-poisoned Knight
There's something small that Malakai does that endears him to me and it's the inital greeting he always does to the Storyteller. He sounds so much like Technoblade when he does that, because Techno also did his hello that way.
Could the Recluse register as a minion or a demon to demons or minions on game startup? I'm just very confused as to why you told Avery she had 4 minions Edit: I misremembered, you gave Avery 3 so it makes much more sense because Magician, sorry 😅
Huh. If a cannibal inherits a flowergirl's abilities, does the inherited "demon and minions don't know who each other are" trump the "if you die, they learn each other that night" of the original flowergirl?
I'm confused by the question. Are you perhaps mixing up the Flowergirl with the Poppy Grower? If so, the Poppy Grower's "demon and minions don't know who each other are" is something that happens during the game's setup phase. It has no relevance after that point. The only part of the ability that is relevant after that point is the "if you die, they learn each other that night" part. So not only would they learn of each other, but if the Cannibal then died, the ST would be obliged to show them each other a second time! - Ben
Avery EVERY GAME: Just leave me alone and keep me alive to final 3. Ignore me all together. I don't think there is a person I would target more every game because of that lmao.
That wouldn't work. The lunatics ability is that they think they are the demon. The marionettes ability is that they think they are good. If you tried to make them both, the storyteller would have to essentially prove to the player that they are the lunatic straight away, otherwise the marionette world isn't possible. If you have both marionette and lunatic, it just has to be two separate players.
I love it when a winning team is declared and there are still players who don't know whether or not they've won.

kohav is severely underrated
wow ngl, I kind of wanted the Avery Artist gambit to work. Ah, well, it was still very funny to watch that stand off.
WOAH that''s a great artist question though. Love when it isn't a Vortox check.
You and me both, next time we will get them

Ben means if you're a dead knight, and know 2 of the 3 players remaining are not the demon. So you know the 3rd (not you) is.
@@verdiss7487 Alternatively, drunken, poisoned, or demon swap. All three are options.
Also one of the people known by the knight could very well be a leeches host
I thought Edd meant the living Knight, and misspoke.
What a crazy initial setup. Love to see it.

I’m curious as to who does the illustrations for the character tokens.
The wiki entry for each character has it
@@michaelkaram467 yeah, I've since discovered that.
So much potential. That was an amazing shot by the Slayer. I’m so sad that evil didn’t win.
I've been to a gig in The Bodega. Nice place
It's great to see Avery on cam this game. ❤
I really love her hairstyle!

I like Vengeful Spirit. Based on Town of Salem's Jester?
I haven’t seen town of Salem. I’ll check it out.

I didn't understand when they explained Jams as possible marionette. Would the slayer killing the demon not make that impossible? 😅
@@theStaruta The Recluse can register as the demon, so it's possible the Marionette neighbours the Recluse instead of the actual demon.

How was Jams a Marionette candidate?
Rewatched it and think I figured it out: Recluse is sitting next, so therefore can function as the demon for that.
Missed the chance for a lunatic marionette, which I'm pretty sure will work
